This book was cute. It was simple for young audiences. Not much of a story but cute pictures.
This was a cute little book about daddies and how they can fit into more than one category. Sometimes they're silly and sometimes they're serious. They can mold into what they need to be.
This is a cute, sweet book describing different things that daddies are. This book's characters are rhinos and is told by the viewpoint of one of the little rhinos. A lot of how the dad is described is very relatable to human daddies. This would be a lovely book for a young child to give to his/her daddy on Father's Day.
Daddies are…sore losers, big, smelly and more. Even so, there is nothing better than your dad.
This is a sweet story.
Cute book for Father’s Day. It shows things that daddies do with their kids. No matter what they are doing, there is nothing better than spending time with dad. Very cute illustrations depicting a rhinoceros family have lots of fun with daddy rhino. The story is equally entertaining with sentences like “Sometimes they are like animals, And they smell like them too.”

This book was silly with very little story but that not stop my girls making me read it 3 times in a row! It made my eldest daughter ask her dad if he was smelly and sniffing him haha. It was a fun little interactive book. Went down well with my girls even if I didn't get why. Loved the pictures though!
Thank you NetGalley and Clavis Publishing for providing me with this free ARC in return for an honest review. I loved this book!! As a father, we try our best but are not always what or who we think we are. He we put dads squarely in the center of a childs point of view. Kids see us differently than we see ourselves and that is fine, and it should also make all of us dads strive to be even better our childrens eyes. I enjoyed the age appropriate illustrations and language, and I love the little comments the child makes. Just a really good and fun book and it is great to find a book that is about us dads. All we are, all we hope to be and all our foibles that make us who we are . . .DADS!!
This book is simple but it's that simplicity that makes it perfect. It's a child's view of what is a daddy. Sometimes smelly, sometimes too big, sometimes gone too long but they're still Daddy. This book will be great at storytimes. The illustrations are lovely and very fun and I can see this being loved for years to come.

This is a sweet picture book all about daddies featuring a rhino family. Narrated by the children, it shows the reader both the good and not so good things daddies do. It doesn't matter though, kids love their dad. There are things that everyone will be able to relate to, especially if you are a dad. This book has incredible illustrations that are playful and complement the story well. There were so many fun things that my granddaughter was laughing throughout. She kept interjecting about things her daddy did. The text itself is quite simplistic, but it is perfect for toddlers. I think this would make a great Father's Day gift from the little ones to read together with daddy.
What a charming little picture book. Read it with my kids, 5 and 4, and they just loved it--they laughed away as the captions of "what daddy is" reminded them so much of their own. The illustrations are wonderful as well.
Thank you to NetGalley and Clavis Publishing for providing this review copy.
I requested and received an e-ARC of this book from NetGalley and Clavis Publishing in exchange for an honest review.
This book was silly, fun, and overall enjoyable. I think kids will have fun comparing the Rhino dad and the silly, smelly, fun and crazy things he does to their own dads.

This is a picture book all about daddies featuring a rhino family. Narrated by one of the children, it's basically just a collection of fatherly traits. Anyone who has a father can probably relate to at least some of them (including when they sneak farts in the car).
Did I love it, though? Not really. There's no story, and once you get past the novelty of a family of rhinoceri who dress like humans, it's just okay.
But this would be a sweet little book for kids to share with their dads (perhaps on Father's Day).
I liked this story overall, and the illustrations were well designed and executed. I got quite a few chuckles out of the examples of what Daddies can be, especially when it came to being smelly. Overall, a simple story that shows that Daddies are people, too!
I think Guido Van Genechten must have written this book about my husband! I swear I've seen most of these scenes play out in our household with our toddler. I absolutely LOVED the playfulness of the illustrations. The storyline captured all the fun things that kids love best about their dads. This would be the perfect Father's Day gift for a dad to read to his little one over and over again! Ideal for ages 0-5.
This was a very sweet book. My son is 4 and a half months old and reading to him is something that I enjoy very much. I definitely plan on reading this to him again and again!
Cute simple book about how Daddies are silly, playful, forgetful but great and unique. I feel it could have been better.
Such an adorable and wonderfully illustrated book about daddies. My little one kept laughing and saying,”yep. Just like daddy.” We loved it.

This is a really sweet heartwarming book about Daddies. It portrays the good and negative points of all daddies and how no matter what we love them.
I loved the artwork in this book, its really endearing to the story.
My daughter will love this book!
Engaging story discussing different ways kids may view their dads. It covered an assortment of ways dads can be viewed including silly, forgetful, busy, distracted, and distant. It highlighted dads that play with their kids and dads that probably work a lot and may pre-occupied. My favorite point was how not every dad can be a handyman. Every family has their own situation so it may not be for everyone. The illustrations were well done and very detailed really adding description and humor to the story.
This was a cute book. I read it to my ten month old son. He liked the pictures and the story was cute. It showed how busy daddies can be and how they have a lot going on but they still love their babies even if they are silly and forgetful. The illustrations for the book were adorable. We
Cute little book about daddies. Our dads don't get the appreciation and love they deserve. This book is about the little things dads do to make our lives fun.
