After accidentally going viral, Millie was left wondering if she was really willing to pay the price for online fame.
It was fun catching up with Millie. She was still vlogging with her cat, Dave, but so many other BIG changes were happening in her life. People were leaving her, left and right, while her agent was pushing her to be something that she wasn't. In the meantime, Millie was feeling the pressure to go viral, and it was all stoking her anxiety.
I was happy to see, that Millie was still delightful, and she was able to mend some of her relationships. I loved spending time with her mother, grandfather, aunt, and Lauren, and was very happy to see Bradley back in the picture in some capacity. She went through some growing pains with some of the people in her life, but learned a lot about herself and the things that really mattered to her.
I enjoy reading books about life online, because it's such a big part of the world we live in. I liked the way Earl approached the topic with humor, while also bringing in other themes, such as family, friendship, second chances, and being true to yourself.
Overall, I had a fun time with Millie and her gang, and it was great to see that she was still charming and unabashedly Millie, Dave was still catastic, and all the ensuing antics still amused me.
