This is one of those books that keeps your heart racing and adrenaline high. Fast-paced, intriguing, and so intense—and so many twists and turns. My goodness, I felt like I was holding my breath each time I turned a page. Highly recommend for fans of murder mysteries and thrillers.

I've recommended this book more times than I can count over the past few months. What a treat for any of fan of twisty psychological thrillers. My introduction to Wendy Walker came via NetGalley and St. Martin's Press (I should know by now that advanced copies I get from this publisher never disappoint) and after the enjoyment I got from Don't Look for Me, I can't wait to read some of her earlier works.

Molly finds herself stranded in the middle of nowhere on a stormy night. Molly lives under a heavy cloud of grief, never having recovered from losing one of her daughters under tragic circumstances years ago. She accepts a ride from a stranger and subsequently disappears leaving her car and a note in a hotel room behind. Police investigation leads nowhere but Molly's daughter Nicole refuses to believe her mother just walked away. In pursuit of the truth Nicole comes to the small town where her mother disappeared. The surface of friendly helpfulness hides many secrets and Nicole will have to wade through them in order to find out what really happened the night her mother disappeared.

Engaging, suspenseful and delightful in its twistiness, this book was a real treat. I ended up sacrificing sleep in order to finish it (and did not regret it). This is the perfect book for those who love mysteries and thrillers that are character and secret driven.

Hands down my favorite Wendy Walker book, this was dark, twisty and super addictive. She definitely had me fooled, well played!

I loved the two perspectives to unravel the story in this book: Molly, the woman who disappeared, and Nicole, her daughter who is trying everything to find her.

I had to force myself to put down this book to go to sleep. The suspense is so heavy that is not a book you should read before going to bed!! I really loved every part of it.

Many thanks to St. Martin's Press for the complimentary e-copy of this book through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

"Don't Look For Me" was an addictive, fast-paced psychological thriller that kept me guessing until the very end.
The twists kept coming & the ending was a complete surprise.
This was the 1st book that I read by Wendy Walker but, it won't be my last.

I wasn't sure what to expect with this one - but definitely had me gripped! The entire book kept me guessing which I loved because as someone who reads a lot of mysteries/thrillers I hate when you can see the ending/twist a mile away. Walker has become one of my favorite authors- can't wait to see what she comes out with next!

I adore Wendy Walker! While I figured out majority of the twists, she writes in such a beautiful and suspenseful way that the hours will fly by. while reading. The book also tackles grief, healing, and the importance of family. Wonderful!

This was the first book I have read by Wendy Walker. While it was a little creepy at times I found myself pulled in, holding my breath, hoping for the best.

I wasn't exactly ecstatic about the ending, but it is what it is. If you enjoy fast paced thrillers you will love this book.

Don’t Look for Me by Wendy Walker was absolutely fantastic. A walk away suspense story was just thrilling. I enjoyed this page turner. Couldn’t put it down.

Told from a mother/daughter dual POV, DON'T LOOK FOR ME follows the disappearance of Molly Clarke on her way home from her son's athletic event. Walker shares early on that there is a lot of grief and tension within the family following the death of the youngest child, who was accidentally killed after being struck by her mother's car. Therefore, the police have no reason to believe that a note found in a nearby casino hotel announcing that she was leaving and didn't wish to be found was anything but true. Molly's daughter, Nicole, struggles to come to terms with this, especially after an explosive argument the morning of the disappearance, and returns to the scene of the disappearance seeking answers.

One of my favorite things about this book was that Molly doesn't have any idea who the abductor is until the end of the novel, as both him and Alice call him by a fake name. This creates tension when reading Nicole's POV, as the reader is left guessing who the villain is. The combination of a surprising twist and the downright creepy final paragraph caused me to give the novel 4.5 stars. I truly enjoyed this book and look forward to reading Wendy Walker's work again in the future. Thank you to St. Martin's Press and NetGalley for the Advance Reader's Copy. All opinions are my own.

Emma in the Night was such a fun thriller, and I might have enjoyed this one even more. Another impossible to put down story, I raced through this one. If you're a fan of her other books, or are skeptical of thrillers, this is one I highly recommend adding to your TBR. Read this if you're in a reading rut or want something you can tear through in a day or two.

I am sorry for not reviewing fully but I don’t have the time to read this at the moment. I believe that it wouldn't benefit you as a publisher or your book if I only skimmed it and wrote a rushed review. Again, I am sorry for not fully reviewing!

Molly Clarke disappeared in a storm, but was it deliberate or something more suspicious? When the police and the volunteers stop looking, will her daughter Nicole go agaist her father's wishes and keep on searching?

Having read other books by this author, I was ready for an unexpected twist at the end. This did happen, but not in a good way. The conclusion seemed to be thrown in to give the novel a clear end, but the author did not do enough to give it a footing in the novel itself. The way Molly was treated by her family seemed a little over the top, especially considering the eventual reveal of what had transpired in the past to warrant the anomosity. The small town setting, with its secrets and shadowy feeling, was authentic, as I have driven through the real world area in which these fictitious characters lived. Overall, Don't Look for Me had a good premise, but was not as good as I had hoped. For these reasons, I would be hesitant to recommend the novel to other readers.

Disclaimer: I was given an Advanced Reader's Copy of Don't Look for Me by NetGalley and the publisher, St. Martin's Press. The decision to review this book was entirely my own.

I’ve read all of Wendy Walkers book and love her style of writing and storytelling but sadly this one just wasn’t for me me. The story started out great but once it got going the story started and I saw where it was headed it getting creepy…. It took be a very long time to get through this one because I kept putting it down and started another book. Finally made my way through.
A special thank you to the publisher St. Martin’s Press via NetGalley in exchange for my honest opinion.

Thank you to Netgalley and St. Martin’s Press for the ARC.

This is my second Wendy Walker book and I really enjoy her work.

There were definitely lots of twists and turns in this one as the chapters were told from Molly's and Nicole's perspective. I don't want to give away too much but I did like Molly's chapters and interactions.

The ending was a bit of a stretch for me but I liked it overall.

Can't wait to read more by Wendy Walker.

I absolutely loved this book! I was hooked from the beginning. Molly Clarke has suffered an unimaginable tragedy so when she doesn't come home and the police find a note at a hotel saying she's left and not to look for her her husband is upset but finds the situation plausible so the search is called off. Her daughter; however, is not convinced that her mom would just leave so she continues the search on her own.
I found all of the characters to be very interesting and the story kept moving along. There were a few twists and I saw none of them coming! I will definitely be reading more books by this author. Read this one!!!

I've been getting into psychological thrillers lately and I really enjoyed Don't Look for Me . . . at least until a point. Then it just became "well, okay."

At first, it screamed unreliable narrator. The story of what happened to Molly didn't add up. It took awhile to realize it was just a matter of getting more details to the story. I was intrigued on finding out what truly happened to Molly.

The story is told from Molly's point of view and her daughter's point of view . . . at first, they were told from a week apart from each other, and then they merged to be in the same time period. I honestly skimmed through Nicole's part because it just wasn't interesting enough for me to truly follow along and I felt like nothing really contributed to the story anyway.

The back half is where it started to unravel and where it "went wrong" for me. It was completely predictable, and nothing kept me on the edge of my seat with interest. I only finished because there were a few things I wanted to see how it ended even though I knew everything else.

Overall, it wasn't bad. It kept me entertained enough to finish, so that's always what counts in my opinion.

This book kept my heart racing until the end. Molly Clarke goes missing as she’s heading home from her sons soccer game. All signs indicate that she may have left willingly. Her daughter Nicole sense something isn’t right and begins looking to see what happened to her mother.

This book was creepy in the best way possible. A lot of characters, all with signs indicating that they could be the person responsible for Molly’s disappearance. What I like about the women in this book is how they’re written. They aren’t completely unreliable, nor do they let their emotions get the best of them. They’re smart and determined and sometimes one step behind, then one step ahead. The ending truly got me because I did not see it coming.

This book was a breath of fresh air as. I’d given up thrillers for a while because they all felt and read the same. Very pleased with this one and will read more of Wendy’s books in the future!

Thank you NetGalley for an advanced e-copy of Don't Look for Me by Wendy Walker.

Wow, wow, wow! This book kept me up reading through the night. I just couldn't stop reading.

Molly Clarke had the perfect life until the terrible accident. A family destroyed! Years later, while driving home in a storm, Molly goes missing.

The police think that Molly left her family. Nicole, her daughter doesn't believe it and starts to investigate her mom's disappearance. Nicole travels to the town her mother disappeared. Did Molly really leave her family or was she taken? So many twists to this amazing and mind blowing read.
