I was really looking forward to this book and it kind of stressed me out. Mina has more problems than most people and it was hard to go through all of that with her on this journey. That being said, it was a really good book and made me think about my own life.

Great writing, wonderful character development are wonderful attributes in a first novel. The not-quite figured out relationship of the two newly-weds was well done, but the slow pace of the book kept me from being fully engaged. But Buchanan has great promise. I'm looking forward to her next novel. I enjoy character-driven books.
