This is one of the titles I’ve revisited from my review list, and while too much time has passed to recall every detail, certain elements have lingered in my memory. Overall, it’s a well-crafted read with commendable strengths. The character development is particularly noteworthy, adding depth and relatability that make the story resonate. The narrative pacing is thoughtfully balanced—engaging without feeling rushed or overly drawn out—allowing the plot to unfold naturally. While it may not top my list of all-time favorites, it’s a satisfying and worthwhile addition to any collection.

This was a great read. It is not usually up my alley, but I thought I'd give it a try and was not disappointed.

I absolutely loved this book. It takes place in the late 70s, but the story is timeless. When Vinnie’s parents divorce, he finds himself moving from Queens to Long Island, and finds he is drawn to his new neighbor in the suburbs. He gets her private phone number and calls her, and finds himself torn between his fake phone persona and his real life self wanting to have a relationship with her.

So much fun, this book!
