The author wrote a pretty good read about the ability to hold a grudge and get revenge over events that happened during WWII. This is one of those books that doesn't fit into a nice little box when being categorized. It is a pretty good read.

This book is too violent for my taste. It's well written but I found hard to read it and wanted to DNF due to the violence.
Not my cup of tea.

Not for the faint of heart.

Theres a lot of violence in this book,from snuff films,torture to just the mindless violence of war.
Told neatly over two timelines over 70 years apart,it really is full of secrets and revenge.
Probably best described as a mix of historical fiction and thriller.
Though I think I'd just say it was riveting.
