While I'm not a fan of country music, I have been a "fan" of Lauren Akins ever since her adoption story became public. In her autobiography, Lauren is very open and honest about her childhood, marriage, motherhood, and the pitfalls that come along with having a famous husband. I really enjoyed her honesty, and appreciated the transparency that she showed throughout the writing of this book. I also was inspired by the importance that she gives her faith and relationship with the Lord.

Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC. All opinions are my own.

Sweet sweet book. Nice to see the behind scenes of this family. They sure are practicing what they preach.

Thanks to author, publisher and Netgalley for the chance to read this book. While I got the book for free, it had no bearing on the rating I gave it.

Lauren Akins is already a likeable person but this book makes you feel like you really know her. As a person, she is funny and kind hearted, as a spouse she is understanding and accountable, as a mother she is present and patient. Her faith in God throughout her entire life and her ability to see the bigger picture really shined throughout this book. I felt so connected to her story and her struggles within her marriage that often weren't caused by communication problems but lack of action. It was beautiful to see the support and love surrounding their "Crew". I fell in love with Willa Gray's story all over again and the relationship that "Doubting Thomas" now has with God. This was exactly the kind of book I would want to read from Lauren Akins. I can't wait to buy this when it's released in a physical copy. God bless that sweet Akins family.

Overall I enjoyed this book. It was interesting learning more about Lauren and Thomas Rhett's background/family life. I would recommend this book to anyone that is a fan of both of them. Thank you Netgalley for the ARC.
