Received an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review,

This was such a fun read. Watching Gavin and Sarah reconnect after years apart was a delight, but even more fun was watching the farce they put on. Despite their engagement being fake, the feelings were real...if only they got out of their way enough to realize it. We got some delightful steam and a lovely connection to each of their families.

Overall, I preferred this one to Max's story. It felt a little more well-rounded though we did resolve things pretty quickly.

The Tycoon's Fake Fiancee wasn't my cup of tea. It sadly ended up on my DNF list. I think I made it around 20% into the book before I gave up.

Reclusive billionaire inventor Gavin Burrows still thinks about Sarah Hanson—the woman he had a brief but memorable fling with three years ago. So he’s shocked when the pretty American woman shows up at his castle door pleading with him to not end his contract with his gardeners, who happen to be Sarah’s aunt and uncle. Sarah is desperate to complete the garden, but Gavin is desperate, too. He’ll do almost anything to get his mother to stop playing matchmaker—even if that means making a deal with Sarah to pose as his fiancée. She gets her garden, he gets his mother off his back. At least with Sarah posing as his fake fiancée, he can avoid all his mother’s marriage prospects. Coming from a large and rambunctious family, all he’s ever really wanted was to be alone to work on his inventions. He certainly won’t let one gorgeous gardener get in his way.
This was a great story by a great author. I’ve read a number of her books and they don’t disappoint. I really liked both main characters as well as the plot. I recommend.

I would like to say this book was good but unfortunately for me, the dialogue fell flat for me. It felt forced, unrealistic and it was truly hard to finish.

This is the story of Gavin and Sarah, what a well written story. This is a fake engagement and second chance love story. This author has a fab way of getting right to the story. The chemistry between the characters is definitely really hot and steamy. another fantastic quick read from this author.

Leslie North has written another great story, and series. This is a very fun and sweet story. Can’t wait to start the 3rd book in this series

Love this series. The relationship between the characters had the right amount of tension, without being overly formulaic. I do enjoy the "Hot-grumpy-secretly sweet genius" trope.

Another great, easy, enjoyable book by this author. The characters were somewhat basic, but put in scenarios that kept the book interesting and enjoyable. Character development and writing weren't great, but the book was enjoyable despite this.

Gavin and Sarah have a history, and sparks still fly. Had a bit of trouble getting into this one, but it is a quick and easy read. If that is what you are looking for I recommend this novella to spend a fun afternoon.

A cute story following the same group of friends. I didn't like this one as much as the first (pregnant fiance) but it was still a good read.

Reclusive billionaire inventor Gavin Burrows never forgot the three memorable years he spent with Sarah Hanson. So he is really surprised when she shows up at his castle doors pleading with him to not end his contract with his gardeners, who happen to be Sarah’s aunt and uncle. Gavin is willing to do almost anything to get his mother to stop playing matchmaker so he makes a deal with Sarah to pose as his fiancée. They both will get what they want.

Even though their engagement is pretend Gavin and Sarah rekindle their past relationships. The pressure of pretending to their families proves to be too much and they confess to everyone and ends things.

But was it all really pretend? Or will they realize before it's too late what they have?

Gavin runs into his old flame, Sarah, and decides it would be a good idea to pretend to be engaged so his mother will stop trying to set him up with other women.
I didn't care much for this story. I had a hard time liking it because Gavin seemed like such a jerk through most of it. He doesn't want kids. He doesn't want to ever get married and through most of the book, doesn't seen to care how that makes Sarah feel. I felt like he kind of randomly decided to propose to her for real.

I didn’t feel the story had a strong plot and I couldn’t relate to the characters. The secondary characters had no development. The premise was ridiculous. And I’m open to a lot of make believe. The writing was okay at best.
Not a book I would recommend.

This story was a second chance romance full of trust issues and true love. The sex scenes were tasteful and romantic. I received this advanced reader's copy from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

THE TYCOON'S FAKE FIANCE is a fun romance between former lovers who are reunited.

I loved the history between these two characters and their chemistry was good. There were a few holes in this story that the author does not address and that's mildly annoying. I wish the author had taken a bit more time to flesh out this story to make sure it was done properly.

As long as you can let go to the few minor story issues, this is a sweet story that is an enjoyable read.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

The second book in this series and this one is just as good as the first. We have a past relationship which gets twisted by Gavin, who wants freedom from his family’s responsibilities and in order to make the break, he enlists his prior flame, by any means, fair or foul to accomplish his goal. This is another quick read with a twist. Grab a glass and put up your feet and enjoy.

Incredibly fast read, it will take you under an hour to read the whole thing. I enjoyed the unusual setting and professions -he's an inventor, she's a gardener and everything happens in a castle- but I didn't connect with the characters. Besides, the hero changes his mind about something very important completely out of nowhere just so they can have a happy ending. But I will give this author another chance because it was well written.
