Caz Finlay is a relatively new find for me. But her books have me absolutely enthralled. From start to finish there's fast paced action!! This is gangland warfare, with a woman at the head, at its best!! O I cannot wait for the next one!! I'd give it more than 5 stars if I could!!

Caz Finlay does it again in the third instalment of the Bad Blood series. Another gritty, gangland novel that will have you gripped from the first page.

Head of the Firm is a brilliant follow up, written with the same intensity as The Boss and Back in the Game. Caz Finlay has a great ability to leave you guessing throughout with plenty of twists and turns.

Around a year has passed and Grace is newly married to Michael. With families aligning they really are a force to be reckoned with. While Jake and the Carter twins take care of business life for Grace is pretty tranquil after years of heading up Liverpool’s underworld. However nothing stays calm for long. Loyalties are tested, secrets are unravelled and while a family feud commences the competition is ready to step in! As much as Grace is trying to keep her family together an explosive event changes the Carters forever. Get ready for a page turner!

As usual this was well written, with a gritty storyline, lots of twists and turns, and a cast of well developed characters, who have more form than a stable yard full of race horses! A terrific series.

Downloaded this very late so binge read it as i love Caz Finlay books. What can i say gangland, liverpool edge of the seat just absolutely brilliant. Look out Martina Cole Caz is as good as if not better. Keep them coming

Set in Liverpool, the reader is faced with fear, secrets, control, revenge but family is the real core from where everything else revolves.

This series is a firm favourite of mine and bloody hell, the author really throws the gauntlets down in Head of the Firm! An explosive start left my heart racing and instantly I needed answers – so much so, I put everything I had planned for the day and immersed myself in this gritty, gangland read. An incredible storyline – something is happening in the Liverpool underworld and it’s going to shake up everything for…well, you’ll see when you read it. There’s a great narrative, fantastic characters, a strong and relentless storyline – I can’t fault one thing about this book.

The characters are what brings the awesome storylines to life and I adore Grace Carter. She has a lot on her plate and actions taken which have devastating consequences keeps her on her toes. Her husband, Michael is another fictional crush of mine – he can be brutal one minute (to his enemies) and a doting dad/loving father the next. And I can’t leave out Jake Conlon or the twins – Paul and Connor Carter – holy sh*tballs there is just a whole tangled web of chaos happening with this trio. All I can say is WTAF!! The author completely blew my mind!

Would I recommend this read! You bet your ass I would! The best in the series so far! Fasten your seatbelts readers as you are in for one hell of a ride! Head of the Firm is fierce, gritty and oh-so-intense – Caz Finlay has delivered another knockout read and I am so glad the next book is out in December as I need more Grace in 2020! Highly recommended!

My head was all over the place with this book. What a fantastic read. Each book I have read by Caz Finlay gets better and better. Just when you think the latest book can't be beaten, Boom it blows your mind.

Liverpool and the Carter family. Everything is perfect, everything runs smoothly. Now you know I'm telling lies don't you. Grace has a feeling, something isn't right, but what she isn't sure.
Keeping an eye on her family is what she does. Grace is married to Michael and their older sons work at running the business now, the drugs, the illegal side of it all. But it seems someone wants in on the action.
From the start of this book I was lost. Nothing else mattered to me other than the words on my kindle.
Some fantastic twists and OMG moments. A real bumpy, twisty roller coaster read. I loved this book, one of the best books I've read a first class read that I can't recommend highly enough.
Caz Finlay is certainly becoming one of the best in this genre, I'm so excited for what is next.
Deserves way more than the standard 5 stars.

Grace is on maternity leave. She has had a baby boy, Oscar. Michael and Grace are the happiest they've ever been with their blended family all getting along. Things couldn't be better. But in Graces world, nothing stays that way for long. The twins, Paul and Connor have had a fall out with Jake. Secrets and lies have been exposed. Will thing ever get back to normal?

I love everything about this series: The main characters, their backgrounds, their tight family bond. This is a family you really don't want to cross. But people do. They think they can take over their business but Jake, Paul and Connor will do everything to stop them. I loved this book but there was a part I didn't want to read about. How could you do that to me Caz! As always the book is well written and you can't help but like the family characters. They have even more ups and downs in this book. And how could you leave us with that ending Caz! Luckily we only have to wait until November to find out. I highly recommend this book and series.

Just finished this little beauty now and still in shock! Head of the firm has taken me on a rollercoaster of emotions with the Carter family and their exploits.
Back in the Game left us up in the air then with the lives of Jake and the twins about to change once and for all, their lives are taken on a journey no one could have predicted, leaving the whole family changed forever.
Grace has fixed unknown disasters in the past, some of those caused by her own son, but this is something even she may not be able to fix.
Back in the Firm proves once and for all Caz Finlay is one author to watch, and this series just keeps getting better and better!!

I have been looking forward to this third book in the Bad Blood series by Caz Finlay, having thoroughly enjoyed the first two. I certainly wasn’t disappointed and if it had been possible to give it more than 5 stars I certainly would have done.
It follows on seamlessly from the last book and the story grip's you from start to finish.
I don't wish to give away any spoilers but I can wholeheartedly recommend that this should be on everyone's reading list

Caz Finlay has given us yet another brilliant book in her series about the character of Grace Carter. Brilliantly following in from her two previous novels, the book is yet another worthy and enjoyable tale of the trials And tribulations that befall the main character and her life revolving around the gangland scene of Liverpool.
Any fans of Martina Cole and female writers for this genre will get an enormous kick out of every twist and turn that unfolds during the pages. I cannot wait for the next book in the series which is due out in a December. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
In short, I loved it!

Wow, I thought this was a thrilling read and think it’s the best book in this series so far. It was very fast paced and I was hooked right from the start. There are lots of twists and turns, and a big shock at the end which sets up the next book. This is the 3rd book in the series and I would recommend you read the books in order. Overall a fab read which I loved.

Another fantastic book by Caz Finlay. The gangster Carter family feel loss at its worth but revenge is never far behind. Cannot wait for the next one to see what else they get up too!! I read it too quickly and was devastated when I got to the end. Thank you!!!

I am absolutely addicted to this series! I cannot wait for the next instalment of the antics of this crazy blended family. A seriously fast paced thriller with plenty of shocks a long the way.

This has the makings of a great organised crime series and definitely a TV drama!
I struggled initially to get to grips with all the characters and their relationships with each other but then I grew to love them all. All individual and strongly defined!
The plot was fast paced and parts were shocking, at times I had no idea how tkings would turn out!
First Finlay book but won't be my last!

Married to Michael, surrounded by family, life is really good. Although Grace just can't shake off this strange feeling that something is about to kick off.
Jake, Graces son and Conner and Paul, Michael's sons businesses are good, money coming in. But when someone starts to invade their territory they are ready to find out who.

In front of them were two young lads, who looked no older than eighteen, strapped to chairs with cable ties and gagged with gaffer tape. ‘Fucking hell. It looks like Fifty Shades of Grey in here,’ Paul said with a chuckle.
The Johnson brothers are now out of jail and they are looking for a piece of the Carters action and they will stop at nothing to get it.
What happens over the next few weeks will change the Carter family for good.

This book was just fantastic, fast paced, thrilling and kept me totally engrossed. Great one liners that work to bring this book up with the best from this genre.
Caz Finlay can write. I love a gritty gangster novel and this is the 3rd book in the series and it just gets better and better.
When secrets come to light, it was just explosive. I didn't know whether to close my eyes or laugh, I think I did both.
The characters are great especially Jake, Conner and Paul, their relationship was off the charts.

I honestly can't wait for the next installment…

I love all these characters and you feel part of the family with them. Caz has a great style of writing and has become one of my favourite authors.

Another excellent page turning gripping read these get better and better.
