My thoughts...
So, while still in between books, because I’m a mood reader, I came across this one. Even though it’s part of a series, it can be read as a stand-alone. This is my first book by Jane Linfoot. The beginning and ending were good. The middle, a big chunk of the book, was slow and there wasn’t really anything happening. The main character’s libido and lust was overdone. I did stick with it, because I was committed. Which was fine, because one of the weddings at the end was touching. Overall, it was okay. It did not make me want to reach out for the others in the series, though. But, if you enjoy easy read, chick-lit and romcoms, you might enjoy this one.

This is such a great series, you will have fun reading all of them.
This summer romance is perfect to bring to the beach along with your fruity drink.
Full of , "did she really do that?" moments it'll have you laughing out loud so get ready for other beach goers to wonder what's up with you.
Milla knows her boyfriend isn't worth it but when she gets very unexpected news it's still devastating to her.
So delightful to visit Cornwall again and the little wedding shop. The wedding shop is such a magical place and Milla throws herself into improving it along with her friend Poppy.
After one disaster, romance is really the last thing on her mind but can she avoid it especially with Poppy's "help"?
Such a heartwarming read I recommend it and all the lovely books in the series.

I was given a complimentary copy of this book. Thank you.
All opinions expressed are my own.

An entertaining and well written romance. Great plot, characters and setting. Always nice to have some humor thrown in. I received an advance ebook from the publisher and this is my unbiased review.

I don't like leaving bad reviews but this was one book that I just couldn't get into. I gave up halfway through as nothing was happening. I loved the Cornish setting and the wedding angle but I just didn't warm to any characters - sorry!

These have been delightful books by Jane Linfoot and we return to Cornwall once again for the next book in the series. Book has a pretty cover, likeable characters and some funny parts as well as sad.

Jane has done it again, she makes me want to cry once these books end because they aren’t real and I so want to live in her worlds ! Especially this year even more so. I just love her relationships, family, friendships and romantic ones, the sense of community and love in her books, they are just a wonderful, happy and safe place to be. It’s a beautiful, slow and warm read, I love the fact autumn is headed this way as I will probably draw in and re-read Janes books on a snuggly couch and emerge again in spring. Just wonderful

If you love rom-coms that have not only great love interests but also wonderful best friend relationships, this is the book for you!

Although I haven't read the previous books in this series, I still very much enjoyed this book. I could tell there were some references to previous books, but I didn't feel like that impeded my reading experience.

I enjoyed getting to know these characters along with all their crazy quirks that made the story what it is. The story focused on Milla who is trying to escape a hard situation where she lives. While there were some moments where I wasn't the biggest fan of hers, overall, I enjoyed experiencing this story through her eyes. She was trying to regain footing in her life and looking to move on from her past which I found very relatable.

As well, I got to know her friend Poppy, who was very fun and a little pushy in the best way. She definitely brought out another side of Milla and talked her into doing things that helped her move away from her heartbreaking past. Poppy was a likable and hilarious character that I'm so glad I was able to get to know.

Overall, I was happy I was able to learn about the Little Wedding shop for the first time through Milla. I think I'd happily return to this world so I'll be looking into reading the previous 4 books in the series.

This book was a bit slow but a good cozy read. Love a good wedding so if you want a quick read this is definitely for you

Poor Mila! Her rat of a fiancé and her rat of a business partner - well, they're now a couple and expecting a baby. Mila, however, is slowed but not stopped. She heads for Cornwall where she's back at it planning weddings, including one for the handsome Nic. What is is about him? You know these two are going to get together, don't you? Linfoot has a nice way of telling their story. This is part of a series but I hadn't read any of them and it didn't make a difference. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC. A good read to cheer you up (and it's set in Cornwall!)

This book is absolutely delicious - and you cannot help but fall in love with the location and Milla and Nic.

I had never read any of this series before but it really didn't matter. I loved how the plot developed as Milla found herself and how her life settled in her new/old environment. The wedding shop was such a great setting and loved all of the people who had involvement in it and the wedding shows (as the book developed).

I have to say one of my favourite characters was the little canine, Merwyn. He needed a badge for being a matchmaker.

This is definitely a must-read especially as our nights start to draw in a bit and we dream of holidays in Cornwall.

Thank you NetGallery, One More Chapter, and author Jane Linfoot for a free E-book ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own. This book is the fifth book in the series. While I have not read the other books in the series, I feel I still could enjoy this book! The book is about a woman named Mila, who is trying to get her life back together after her fiance and best friend get married and are expecting a baby. As the time of the due date is fast approaching, Mila decides to escape to Cornwall and begins to work in the wedding shop. As she begins the task of planning weddings, a man named Nic walks in and asks Mila to plan a dream wedding! Can love been found in the planning of another's big day?
This book was so cute and funny! Mila was a great character and enjoyed how strong she became despite to disasters that seemed to follow her where ever she went. The banter and chemistry between Nic and Mila was excellent. I so enjoyed the misunderstandings of who's wedding Mila was planning! Nic was a great make counterpart to Mila. He was sweet, strong, and thoughtful towards those he loves especially his family. Nic was the perfect man for Mila to push her to self examine and go after what she really wanted. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and the ending was satisfactory! I can't wait to go back and read the previous books within this series!

Although I found the first half of this book quite slow, I was glad I stuck with it as it turned out to be a lovely read. This may have been due to the fact I hadn’t read the previous books in the series. Some nice characters you could relate to and enjoyable. I would rate this book 3.5 stars. Thank you to NetGalley, Harper Collins UK, One More Chapter, and the author for the chance to review.

Ah what a lovely story - perfect for lovers of chick-lit, romance, women’s fiction and a good old happy ending. A light read for any season, this author sits happily alongside the likes of Veronica Henry and Heidi Swain in a cosy reading spot all for myself.

This book is part of a series of books but works equally well as a stand alone novel. It tells the story of Milla, a wedding specialist who moves away from a toxic city lifestyle to temporarily breath in some sea air, and Nic a hunky troubled sailor on a mission to create a perfect wedding. Relationships, sparky and at times almost hostile (i knocked off a star from my review as this part did get a little tedious and irritating before it restored itself) left me guessing for many chapters, calamities galore brought a smile to my face on many an occasion and beautiful details enveloped me into the novel. Chuck into the mix the odd tear of empathy, joy and pride, I feel I will forever be a part of Milla Vanilla‘a and Captain Kirk’s somewhat troublesome adventures.

So what are you waiting for? Pull up a cuppa in your cosy reading spot and be whisked away to St Aiden by the sea.

Although it starts slowly keep reading for some fun with Nic as he assists our heroine with the wedding planning resulting in unanticipated ‘accidents’. What happens after the wedding is just not believable and the end is rather schmaltzy considering 2 adults are involved but parts of it are fun
Thank you netgalley and the publisher for this arc

It was sooo nice to be back in St Aidan’s with old friends and meet new ones! I have loved all the books in this series and I adored this one. It had all the makings of a good chic lit - there were both tears and laughter and I felt all squishy inside (nothing to do with Poppy’s cupcakes or muffins!).

Milla is broken - her fiancé and her ex-best friend/business partner have moved in together and just had a new baby. What’s more, they have stolen Milla’s baby name!! Poppy persuades Milla to come down to Cornwall for a break and get herself back on her feet. Whilst there Jess (owner of Brides by the Sea) makes her a proposition and she doesn’t feel she is really in a position to say no.

Enter Nic who is planning a ‘Don’t tell the bride’ wedding, all Milla has to do is help Nic organise everything. The only thing is he makes her heart race ... can she work beside him and hide her true feelings or will she make a total fool of herself like she usually does?

Best enjoyed with a cup of coffee and some nice home baking (or Mr Kipling cake!).

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an advanced read copy of this book in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

A lovely warm and romantic novel. Once started I couldn’t stop until I had finished. Loved it, loved every page.

A lovely, heart warming read.

After reading this story I found out it was one from a series, you would not realise this and can easily read it as a stand alone without feeling you have missed anything.

As you delve in to this book you will fall in love with the main characters, Milla and Nic, as well as all their good friends (and the dog!)
I don’t want to give anything away in this review as there are several secrets that get revealed along the way, some are a little predictable but that doesn’t spoil the read.

You will want to devour this book in as few sittings as possible to see how everything ends!
I love that everything isn’t always plain sailing and that the characters experience life’s ups and downs as they go along.
One warning for you, make sure you have the tissues to hand, especially when Pixie gets married!

All in all a lovely read, put your feet up and forget the world for a while, while you get lost among wedding plans and walks on the beach.

I’ll certainly be looking for more titles from this author.

Thank you to Netgallery, the publishers and most importantly the author, for the chance to read this book, in exchange for an honest review.

You know it’s a powerful story when you have to stop reading because you’re crying so much. Two parts of this book made me cry, Pixies wedding when she shares her surprise with everyone by walking down the aisle and then when Nic and Milla are desperately trying to be the bigger the person and to let each other go because they care for each other so much. My heart was breaking for both of them as Nic declared he loved her but had to leave.

I loved reading the banter between Nic and Milla and seeing their back story unravel. Everyone pulling together was beautiful and the descriptions of all the venues and afternoon teas were excellent I really felt I was there.

I hadn’t read this author before or the previous books in this series but it really didn’t matter it worked as a complete stand alone. I will certainly be searching the other books in the series out.
