4 out of 5 stars. Thank you to St Martins Press and Netgalley for this ARC in return for my honest review:
This book, in line with all Michele Campbell’s books, is nothing short of spectacular. As most people know, money doesn’t buy happiness, but what else comes with unimaginable wealth? The Wife Who Knew Too Much shows the real cost of money in this twisted psychological thriller. This book is “unputdownable” and will leave you wanting more!
I really enjoyed this book by Michele Campbell. Great storyline with lots of surprises.
Thank you to NetGalley, Michele Campbell, and St, Martin's Press for allowing me to read this advance review copy
I was so excited to see the email inviting me to read this most anticipated novel. I could not believe my luck.
Boy was I right, what a wonderful read. I was on the edge of my seat from beginning to end.
I had a difficult time putting this beauty down.
Very well written, great characters which you loved and questioned their motives.
Lots of twists and turns, with an ending I did not see coming.
I love Michele Campbell novels and will continue to read anything she writes.
Thank you Netgalley, St Martin’s Press and Michele Campbell.
Highly recommend. 5 stars 🌟
The Wife Who Knew Too Much is a quiet little suspense novel that sneaks up on you in the way that a carefully concocted cocktail does when you least expect it. We are introduced to many characters in the beginning and when one of them dies, we aren't really aware of how intertwined she will be throughout the rest of the novel.
When Nina commits suicide, her husband is set to inherit everything. Only there was a prenup which mentioned no extra marital relationships and now Connor just got his secret hook up pregnant. It looks bad for Connor and bad for small town girl, Tabitha who is now carrying his child. While Tabitha tries to adjust to the lifestyle of the rich and famous, there is a murderer on the loose and it seems like everyone is a suspect. Filled with plot twists that keep your head spinning until the end, The Wife Who Knew Too Much is a good mystery!
Excellent writing, character development was pretty good even though there were many characters, and settings were great!!!
Thank you to NetGalley, Michele Campbell, and St, Martin's Press for the invitation to read and enjoy this temporary advance review copy. As always, my opinions are mine alone.
This book started out like gangbusters...slowed to a waltz...and then just petered out. Blah to the ending. Disappointing to say the least.
Michele Campbell sure does know how to write addictive suspense novels! When I read the description for The Wife Who Knew Too Little I was so excited to dive in! The premise is original and although I thought the beginning was a tad choppy, I quickly became hooked! Michele Campbell had me creating conspiracy theories about my conspiracy theories lol! The Wife Who Knew Too Little is a twisty turn tale that will have you guessing until the very end.
Awesome! Lots of twists and turns. It kept my interest from beginning to end. I would definitely read this author again. Highly recommend.
Another chilling hit for Campbell. Her writing gets better and more intense each time she writes a new book. This one has so much of the things I love in thrillers; lots of money, cheating, lies, twists, and so many dark chills! It had me racking my brain to figure out who was guilty and innocent and why they were all doing it! It also tied together little things that no one would notice, but had such a prominent feature in the whole storyline! Left me gasping with shocks, in chills, and tired from staying up way too late to read! Highly, highly recommend! Preorder today, not one you want to miss!
Will make sure I buzz it up on all the different platforms!

Just in time for your summer vacation comes a terrific beach/pool read from author Michele Campbell and St. Martin's Press.
This one is so much fun! It's a page-turner that will keep reading 'just one more chapter', until dinner is late and you wind up ordering pizza and throwing together a salad. But at least that way you can read and eat at the same time.
If you enjoy mysteries and thrillers, keep an eye out for this. It's worth waiting for.
Loved the first line, it grabbed me. i liked the alternating perspectives but wished we had more of Nina's story, she was left more of a mystery than i would have liked. the writing style was smooth, interesting , the twists interesting. too much time in the chase scenes and the ending didn't quite ring true. needed a good ending to match the opening but overall, i enjoyed the book and read it in two days thanks so much for the ARC
I literally jumped up and down when I got the email pre approving me for Michele Campbell’s newest thriller - The Wife Who Knew Too Much.
I binge read it in one day.
That being said - I think she set the bar too high for herself. I liked this book a lot - but it just got so crazy and convoluted towards the end. I just couldn’t get behind Conner being a good dude !
I did enjoy the first 80% of this book immensely and still give it a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rating from me. I’ll forever be a fan of hers for sure.
The twists were decent and the writing seem less and smooth as always- it just ended strangely for me (a little).
As always I’m so thankful to be a part of this amazing reading community and appreciate all the books I get to review !
I enjoyed this book but don't feel it was one of her best. Too many implausible vents and the ending really stretched my imagination. That said, I read it and enjoyed it and recommend it. Her writing style is wonderful.
Oh sweet jesus!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow this story topped Michelle Campbell's last book!!!!!!!!!! This story has so many twists and turns you can NOT figure it out. I read this book in two days and loved it!!!!!! We have Tabitha, a waitress who is minding her own business doin her thing when her first love walks back into her life. She is elated until she finds out that he is married but says he still loves Tabitha and wants to be w/her. He just has to get out of his marriage to a very rich older woman. Next thing we know this woman winds up dead. Tabitha is thrown into this huge mess of a love triangle and doesn't know who to trust. Did her lover kill his millionaire wife ?? You'll have to read to find out!!!!!!! Thank you to Netgalley and St. Martin's Press for my honest review
Some people like a good leisurely read in books, but I’m one that likes a irresistible start and powerful finish.
The Wife Who Knew Too Much started off too slowly for me, but toward the end, that it got mind-boggling exciting.
Bad things can happen if #The Wife Knew Too Much!
Thank you to Net Gallay and St. Martin's Press for an advance of this title in exchange for my honest review. I have read a previous book by the author, and I liked it a lot. I was happy to receive this one. The author stated in her dedications that she had a more difficult time with this one, and I think it shows. None of the characters are likable. Tabitha, the main character, had such unbelievable actions I couldn't stand her. That said, I kept reading, and I wasn't willing to let it go without finding out the end. The plot itself actually was clever and well done. The characters not so much.
