It was alright. It didn’t wow me, the characters were mildly interesting but the story had a good pace even though they have questionable actions. The pace and the whodunnit is the good part. It’s a good thriller .

This is the second novel by Michele Campbell that I"ve devoured.. She's a fabulous writer and her stories draw you in so that you really forget about the "real world".

She's on my list of must-read authors!

Upper class prep boy, Conner, meets girl from the wrong side of the tracks, Tabitha “Tabby.” They fall in love, but their parents keep them apart. Or in this case, grandparents. Tabby thought she’d never see Conner again until he unexpectedly walks into the pub where she is waitressing. They talk a little, and he leaves her with her embarrassment after finishing his meal with a beautiful stranger Tabby knows isn’t his wife. As she leaves work, he is waiting for her and they spend the night together. Conner has to return to his real life, husband of an extremely powerful and controlling women, Nina. Weeks later, after Tabby finds out she is pregnant, Nina kills herself by taking drugs and going for an evening swim. Tabby thinks her dreams have come true when wealthy, handsome Conner marries her and takes her to his mansion on the beach. As the months go on, renewed interest in Nina’s death surfaces, and the police suspect Tabby is behind it. Tabby suspects Conner was involved. How can be she clear her name? What does she really know about Conner? Is this fairy tale too good to be true?

The Wife Who Knew Too Much is an action packed, drama filled, thrill ride that kept my interest from the very beginning until the last details in the epilogue. Tabby, wonderfully naive at the start, grew into a strong, confident women and mother at the end. The supporting characters for equally sympathetic or evil. I highly recommend this twisty, suspenseful page turner!

I enjoyed this murder mystery about the rich and famous. There are several red herrings and some interesting characters. Nina was my favorite. An entertaining read!

This is a thriller that draws the reader in right from the beginning and then keeps the pages turning. Well written story with a good plot. My only critique is I am not a huge fan of characters that I can't root for because they are unlikeable. But I would still recommend this for my thriller lovers out there. Quick and fun read.

Thank you to St. Martin's Press for my copy of The Wife Who KnewToo Much in exchange for an honest review.

This was a clever thriller that was full of lies, betrayal, double crossing, and lots of plot twists! This is a good one for anyone that enjoys being kept on their toes till the very end and never being sure who the trustworthy characters are throughout the book. It was a creative spin on the 'Who-dun-it?' murder mystery thriller.

I took me a bit to warm up to Tabitha and I was never really sure if I trusted Connor through out the whole book! I was very skepital of Nina and if she was as clean in all of it as she seemed or not. I loved the strong opening with Nina's journal and accusations. Overall, I can't say that I found any of the characters to be that likeable, but Campbell created a story that I was curious enought about to look past that and still enjoy it. The chapters were short and set a good quick pace for me, which is they way I prefer my Thrillers to be written.

This was my first book by Michele Campbell and it will not be my last! I enjoyed the story. I kind of guessed who was actually behind this whole scheme, but there were definitely a few surprises as to why things happened the way they did. I didn't care too much for some of the characters, but I did enjoy the writing. The flashbacks to the past were not confusing as in many other books. I could actually keep track of what happened when. I liked that the flashbacks came in small increments. That helped keep my interest in the story and put together the puzzle in the end.

Thank you, NetGalley, for a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.

This was a lovely, twisty-turny domestic suspense! With the main character as the narrator, the reader struggles to figure out exactly what happened to the recently deceased wife and who to trust.

While this may be a perfect summer read, this one kind of missed the mark for me. It started out strong by introducing us to Tabitha and her first love, Connor. When his wealthy wife suddenly dies by suspected suicide, Tabitha is thrust into a whole new world. Told in alternating timelines an POV, Tabitha must put the pieces together to find out the truth. There are a LOT of moments in the last 60% of the book where you just have to believe that either Tabitha is blinded by love or just plain helpless. The main twist was pretty obvious from the start and by the end when things were wrapping up it felt so messy. I know a lot of people loved this book, but while this one kept me entertained it just felt so anti-climatic by the end with an ending that felt super rushed.

First, I need to say that Michele Campbell is a fantastic author. I love all of her books that I've read. She is great. I had high expectations for this one since I have been impressed in the past. The book is about two kids that have a fling and fall hard for each other. They then go their separate ways until they are brought back into each other's lives after his wife takes her own life. Seems a little too good to be true, huh? Well because it probably is. The characters were all unlikeable which is okay, that just shows what good writing can do. I highly recommend this book and all of Campbell's other books.

I loved this book. Full of twists and turns definitely worth the read! Tabitha is totally over her head which makes the reader feel the same. I didn't see anything coming!

THE WIFE WHO KNEW TOO MUCH begins with the death of Nina West. Nina is a rich and powerful widow in her early fifties.
At her annual Fourth of July party Nina meets the charming and handsome Connor Ford. Nina is swept off her feet. Despite the twenty year age difference and good sense Nina marries Connor. Always the savvy business woman Nina has Connor sign an ironclad pre-nup preventing him from acquiring any of her fortune should he be found to be unfaithful. Nina suspects something is amiss in her marriage and starts a diary that reveals her unease.
As a teenager Tabitha Girard fell deeply in love with the rich preppy Connor Ford. Tabitha and her family were hard working people but didn’t have much money. Though the relationship ended because of these differences Tabitha never forgot or stopped loving Connor.
Years later Connor and Tabitha meet at the restaurant where Tabitha works. The attraction is strong and Tabitha’s feelings come back to surface. The romance begins anew.
At first Nina’s death was thought to be an accident but the police continue to investigate. Was Nina murdered? Who has a motive? Tabitha becomes a person of interest in the investigation.
THE WIFE WHO KNEW TOO MUCH was a good read. It was suspenseful and was able to hold my interest until the end.
I would recommend this book to fans of Ruth Ware.

After reading “She Was The Quiet One”, I was thrilled to read an advance copy of Michele Campbell’s latest novel and I was hooked on page 1! This is a novel about money, love, and revenge. It’s about murder and it is difficult to determine who is culpable and why. I always enjoy a thriller and trying to figure out an angle before the “who done it” is reviewed. This novel had me guessing every step of the way and in the end, I was shocked.
Nina’s first husband was older than her and very rich. When he died, she fell in love with a younger man and against the advice of many people around her, she quickly marries him. Connor is charismatic, gorgeous and he constantly dotes on Nina. But Nina knows that she is about to be murdered.
I received an advance copy of this novel; all opinions are my own.

I enjoyed reading, The Stranger on the Beach, by Michele Campbell, so I was excited to read her newest psychological thriller. The level of suspense ran high and kept me reading late into the night. The novel starts off developing a relationship timeline for Tabby and Connor who are two star crossed lovers as teens. Connor comes from money and Tabby is "the help" at the country club. Their grandmothers forbid them from seeing one another, so they sneak around until they get caught. Fast forward to their adult years, Connor is married to a multimillionaire and living the high brow life while Tabby is a divorced waitress who has a prior conviction due to her abusive ex who is stalking her. Tabby's life is a mess and then Connor shows up at the restaurant where she is working. Their romance continues where it left off. Meanwhile, Connor's extremely rich wife is found dead and foul play is suspected. There was a lot going on in the book which kept the suspense flowing and I enjoyed reading it, but it was a little bit predictable.

This book was a wild ride! I think it’s my favorite Michelle Campbell book thus far. I read a lot of thrillers and while I thought I had it figured out, I didn’t know how it would all play out. Turns out I was wrong about a few things and was surprised by how this one worked out. It was a quick and fast read that I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good quick ride.

This is a binge book! It's a fast paced binge worthy book. I started it last night thinking I'll just read for a bit then go to sleep 4 hours later I I finished it! The beginning of the book hooked me and I had to know what happened. The beginning starts out with a diary entry of Nina basically putting it out there that if she died unexpectedly that her husband was to blame. Then, the next morning she was found drowned.
The story follows Tabitha and has some flashbacks and chapters from Nina.
I loved this book, I couldn't put it down and the twist was much more sinister than I originally thought! It hooks you from the beginning and keeps you hooked till the end! This was a first for me by this author and I'm excited to check out her other books! Definitely recommend

This book was a bombshell! I really wondered how it could all work when threaded together, but it did! It had me guessing until the very end and then blew my mind! The dirty deeds and shady business all came together in a stunning climax. This is a book that I will read over and over again and find things I missed every single time. Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for my free arc in exchange for my honest opinion!

This was just a basic thriller. The characters were extremely irritating and awful. I love Michelle's writing, but she needs to do better with making some likeable characters. I did like all the twists at the end, but I just couldn't rate this hirer.
