Yet another brilliant book in this lovely family saga series. This book is just as good if not better than the previous ones
I have loved catching up with Flo,Rose,Dot,Jean,Mary and Bess as continue life through the war although Flo is punishing herself for Neils death and refusing to sing again The love and friendship of the liberty girls is there for flo if and when she needs them.Henry Masters is a man who knows his fabrics and flo watches him work when serving customers as they are so busy and short staffed.Then Mr Button brings in Evie Allingham to help but things aren't that easy and dot is not happy.I have really loved this book and shall look forward to to the next.5*
FLO'S STORY 1942 Islington Florence canning [Flo] is saying goodbye tearfully to her husband Neil after he was serving on the HMS Veteran it was hit by a torpedo, she will never sing again. living in her dead aunts house with so many fond memories in North London. everything has lost its sparkle even her job at Liberty's her grief is unbearable. her fellow work mates, Dorothy, Mary, Alice, Alice, Rose and Jean are worried about her. but going back to work back to normality and she moves in with Dot for a while. Flo has been working there since she was sixteen and was now the manager of the fabric department, beautiful vibrant fabric's even in a devastation war they must all pull together. the Liberty books are such a joy to read and Flo's story will touch you. it touch mine and happy endings are waiting to be discovered. and i eagerly await more of our Liberty Girl's, they all have a story to tell. i would like to say thank you to Netgalley and Arrow book's for the ARC and also to thank the author for the wonderful special thank you mentioned at the start of the book i am deeply humbled
