A really fun murder mystery. Will keep most readers guessing throughout.
I figured out the whodunnit pretty early on. But I loved the unfolding of the story.
None of the characters were truly reliable. All could’ve been guilty. None were 100% likable. Yet, I somehow liked them all!
I loved the format as well. The flipping back and forth of events and trial documents made the pacing feel quicker to me.
This book was the right kind of addictive. I loved how the characters developed. It was a perfect book to read at the end of the day. Highly recommend!
I haven’t read a great novel for a couple of months and am so glad that I came across this one. I must say that it kept me well entertained. All of the characters were interesting, and I kept going back and forth on the suspect. I usually figure out the culprit before the end of the book, but this one kept me guessing. I will look forward to reading more by this author.
Wow this was a great read! Three friends attend a book club and after a night of drinking there’s a dead body and the ladies are on trial. There’s 2 wives and one who wants to be. The POV toggles between present and last 8 months of the ladies’ life and what led to that tragic night. It’s a quick read & suspenseful with a twisty ending! Thank you to Sourcebook Landmark, NetGalley, and Gina LaManna for an ebook copy in exchange for my honest review.
Eliza, Anne, and Penny are women from different backgrounds who come together for a book club. During one get together, the subject of cheating spouses and revenge is broached. Shortly thereafter, Eliza’s husband Roman is found dead, and it’s determined that each woman had cause for motive.
This breezy yet sharp read kept me on my toes until the final reveal. The story begins shortly before the ill fated book club event, and we get to know the inner lives of each woman and how they came together. I found myself really relating to Penny and Anne more so than I did than Eliza, and I looked foreward to their chapters. I never felt like enough time was devoted to Eliza as much as the other women, and thus I couldn’t connect to her. The dialogue was real and you felt like you were eavesdropping on a group of girlfriends at brunch, and the secrets and situations the characters got into weren’t far fetched like in other domestic thrillers. In between each chapter are court transcripts from Roman’s murder trial, which helped add more depth to the secrets the women were hiding. The final reveal as to Roman’s killer came as a complete surprise to me.
I quite enjoyed the character development and overall mystery of this book, and plan to seek out Gina LaManna’s other works

Marguerite Hill: A NYT Best selling Author.
A self help guru.

All four of these women meet for a book club featuring Marguerite's book. Eliza has promised Marguerite fame and money if she hires her to be her publicist. The four women talk about what each one of them would do if their partner's were cheating. By the next day a man is dead and they are all suspects. Alternates chapter's with short trial transcripts with three of four of the women. The ending was a surprise to me which is a good thing. This was a fast read although the plot has been overdone. This one was okay but not one of my favorites.

Three Single Wives is a clever "who dun it" and kept me invested for hours! I read this book in one sitting not only because it held my interest through and through, but because I found the plot and these women to be addicting! I highly recommend this one.
I've had this book for awhile...it's taken me some time to actually get into it. I really liked the idea of the book and was super excited about it. A book club only reviewing important books.
However, this one never grabbed my interest. I ended up skimming most of it sadly. I was a huge fan of pretty guilty women but this almost felt like a repeat. It just didn't work for me.
Thanks to Netgalley for my advanced ebook copy.
If you are in the mood for a fast paced murder mystery, you won't be disappointed when you read this book. You will keep guessing and wondering why this story had to end. Thank you Netgalley for another satisfying read.
It was intriguing enough to keep on going.
All in all, it was a good read.
It had me guessing on who the murderer was.
It was fast-paced and interestingly well written.
This really is an addictive read even though it does get a bit wordy, however, there was no way I could not know how it would all play out in the end. Once you start it's all or nothing.
So so good full of twists and turns.Sat down to read a few pages was drawn right in could not put down,My mind bounced from one theory to the next gasping at each reveal,An author I will be recommending following.#threesinglewives#netgalley
I loved this book!
At one point or another I suspected everyone in it of being the killer. It was easy to keep the different POV's straight and I enjoyed that while all of the characters were flawed each was also sympathetic in her own way.
Throw in a satisfying conclusion and I'm a happy girl!

We have been in lockdown for over two weeks & I was looking for an escape. This book provided me with this I honestly kept changing my mind as to what was going to happen & who had done it. The writer ensured that the ending wasn't obvious & it was really well written
Plain and simple, this is a great read. Cleverly plotted, likable characters, pulled together very well with reasonable closure. When sleazy Roman is murdered, a group of friends, lovers and his wife, all had a motive to kill him,, and became suspects. The author makes a good case for each. She threw in red herrings and additional subtle motives to make this a page turner until almost the final page.
In these troubled times, this book was a real source of entertainment. That’s exactly what I needed.
Than you Netgalley for this delicious read.
Great great book!!! What a very interesting story, yet it so viable. I can totally see my own book club doing this! I am recommending this book to many people when it comes out. Very enjoyable read, I could not put it down. Then I wanted it to keep going. I really think this would make a great movie or T.V. series.
