I have read all of the books in this series and enjoyed them, and this one did not disappoint.
We take care of some unfinished business, and are updated on the McKade brothers, but don’t get to comfortable, you will soon be holding your breath and page-turning for answers, they will come, and maybe not how you expect.
We experience the beauty of the area around Jackson Hole through the eyes of these characters, but evil is lurking, and they have no regard for human life.
Will all of the characters you care about make it to the end? Will the little one get to see her Mom again? Answers come yes, but surprises abound, and bombshells drop, and you will be ducking as the bullets fly!
I received this book through the Publisher Revell and was not required to give a positive review.

This book was a perfect mix of romance and suspense Rae is a journalist searching for her missing sister-in law. Liam is a former DEA agent. Rae and Liam have a complicated past. Liam has offered to help Rae find her missing sister-in-law. Rae is dedicated and tenacious. Liam is not sure he can watch Rae put her life of line again. Rae is willing to risk everything to save someone else. Liam wants to be there for her every step of the way. Their chemistry is off the charts. Liam is a loner but Rae has a way of making him open up just enough to let light into his cold heart and crack it wide open. This book captured my heart right at the beginning. I would to recommend this book to anyone who loves romantic suspense.

What an awesome romantic suspense. Elizabeth Goddard has another winner with her new book, Don’t Keep Silent. An edge of your seat plot and real page turner. Suspense fans will not want to miss this book. I received an arc from the publisher and Netgalley and this is my unbiased review.

“His past followed him here, and he couldn't let it out of his sight. ~Liam”

“While she'd never been a big fan of silence—keeping quiet about wrongdoing was the worst kind of evil in her opinion. ~Rae”

I was looking forward to getting to know Liam McCade when he was first introduced in “Always Look Twice”. Trying to find his way after leaving the DEA, he runs into Reagan Burke, the investigative reporter who almost cost him his life. But how could he resist helping her find her missing sister-in-law when she asked? Maybe his heart hadn't healed after all.

What I always like about Goddard's writing is she keeps your nose to the pages with her fast-paced stories. This one picked up speed after about the halfway mark, but that certainly doesn't mean it was slow up to that point. She laid the foundation for a good story-line in the first half so that the reader could anticipate what was going to happen. Kind of like watching a scary movie where your adrenaline was pumping hard! I liked these characters, they had depth to them and I think Goddard did a great job of making them seem real. There's a good balance of suspense and romance; I loved watching it play out between Liam and Rae. They have a lot to overcome, killers to catch, death to defy, danger to avoid and a missing person to find. Oh and the scenery was breathtaking! I'm not a skier but I could see the beauty of “cowboy powder”, the fresh snow on top of a mountain, undisturbed with an undercurrent of danger that Goddard included. The bitter cold and snow just added to the already tense story; I could literally feel it in my bones!

This book is labeled as Christian fiction and I found it to contain a very light faith thread. I guess maybe I'm different than some readers in the fact that I like it stronger in the stories I read. But this did contain enough of an element that you could tell both Liam and Rae did serve God & rely on Him when danger mounted. I just wished it would have played out a bit more!

“Who could understand why life unraveled beneath them? No one. She wouldn't ask the creator of the universe why, because there would be no way to comprehend His answer. All she could do was trust Him to make a way for her. To hold her in the palm of His hand. ~Rae”

All in all, if you are a romantic suspense fan who loves a tense book, one that you have a hard time putting down, I think you will enjoy “Don't Keep Silent”! Though this is the third and final book in the Uncommon Justice series, this is perfectly fine reading by itself. Of course, I always recommend reading the whole series, it's just too good to miss!

Don't Keep Silent is a great and clean thriller. It's full of suspense and love and keeps you on edge. It has a good pace of timeline and doesn't give things away too quickly.

Don't Keep Silent is the third book in Elizabeth Goddard's Uncommon Justice series. Having read the previous two books in the series, there were certainly some familiar people and places known from the previous books and I'd highly recommend the series as a whole... but this could certainly be read as a stand alone too.

In Don't Keep Silent we get a closer look into the life of another McKade brother, Liam. When we meet Liam, he's searching for his direction after having left the DEA. When Rae's sister in law goes missing, she brings him in to help. Of course, there's a romance there that I really enjoyed seeing play out... but the action really took the lead in this story! Every turn of the page seemed to reveal something else and I couldn't put it down, trying to figure out how it all went together. There were many twists and turns throughout that really kept me guessing right through to the end. You really never quite were sure who to trust. These are often my favorite type of suspense stories. Elizabeth Goddard did a wonderful job of crafting this story to keep the reader involved right through to the end.

As a Christian romantic suspense, there is certainly some mention of faith and prayer but I felt it was very subtle in this story--- characters displaying very natural shows of faith (prayer, etc) as they would in life. As such, it could possibly appeal to those who just enjoy a good clean read as well. And that it certainly is. Though it deals with topics like human trafficking, it is still clean and free of language.

While I must admit that I did prefer the other books in this series better, this was still a fantastic read and a great addition to the series. Fans of romantic suspense are sure to enjoy this one!

**I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher via Netgalley for consideration. All thoughts are 100% my own.

The third in the Uncommon Heroes series proves to be a fast paced mystery in which to uncover the disappearance of a young mother. As always, the husband is the first suspect but there are deep secrets his wife has been keeping that will slowly emerge. Former DEA agent Liam is surprised to see investigative reporter, Rae in his home town seeking his help to find her missing sister-in-law, Zoey. Their past experiences proved to be a disaster but both are willing to work together to find Zoey. This story has complex characters and many twists and turns to keep readers guessing to the end. Highly recommended!

Don’t Keep Silent by Elizabeth Goddard is a fast paced mystery. The book read as if it could be part of a series. The two main characters had a past and i am not sure if that past was another book.

Rae is an investigative reporting who lost her job after her last escapades that resulted in Liam losing his cover, getting shot and saving her life.
I will say this book had me thinking a lot. I could not decide if I liked Rae or not. She was reckless and stupid. However would we do the same things in her position. Her former roommate and current sister in law was missing. She was looking for her and asked Liam for help because she trusted him since he was willing to risk his life for her previously. Is that selfish?

She repeatedly made reckless decisions and purposely would not tell Liam because he would not want her to risk herself. Truly she did not deserve him.

Liam was struggling emotionally from the last case where he took the bullet for Rae. He retired from the DEA and was trying to decide what to do with his life. He decides to help her with this case. I liked him but could not understand why he liked Rae? What did he see in her?

The author did a fabulous job with plenty of plot twists and interesting clues.
Sexual content – I think there was kissing
Violence – 2.5 – talk of human trafficking, someone is kidnapped, someone tries to kill them

I received this book from Netgalley. I was not required to write a positive review.

I've been eagerly awaiting this book and it did not disappoint! If you like Lyn Blackburn, Lisa Harris, Susan Sleeman type books, you will enjoy this one. While I got it free in exchange for a review, this is a book I would pay to read and have put it on the purchasing list for multiple libraries.

It's part of a series but can be read as a standalone. However, I do warn you that you will want to read the others in the series. It's a clean read and while there are things eluded to, nothing is graphic. I admit to reading it somewhat compulsively!

Elizabeth is a great author and I'll be looking forward to her next book. In the meantime, I'm going to read her back catalogue!

Don't Keep Silent by Elizabeth Goddard is the third book in the Uncommon Justice Series. A woman has been held captive in a cabin and she knows she has only one chance to escape or die trying. She would rather take her chances trudging through the snowbanks of Wyoming that to sit and do nothing.
Rae Burke is an investigative free-lance reporter. Her sister-in-law, Zoey, has gone missing and Rae is determined to find her. Zoey has secrets which she has kept to herself for years. Rae decides to contact someone from her past who may be able to help her in the search.
Liam McKade was a DEA agent but had been shot during the last case. His cover was blown because he cared enough for a reporter to put himself between her and a bullet. His hope to never see her again goes awry when he looks across a snowy parking lot in Wyoming and sees Rae Burke. She can only mean trouble for him.
As the search for Zoey seems to go cold, Rae knows time is running out to prove her brother had nothing to do with his missing wife. Where is Zoey? I don't want to post spoilers.
The book is written as a mystery/thriller. I appreciate the inspirational theme of the story.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read and review this book.
