Many thanks to Celadon Books and NetGalley for the ebook! This book kept me on the edge of my seat. I enjoyed following Paul’s journey as he returned home to see his dying mother. Things became really creepy after his return to Gritten. I was very surprised by a twist in the story that I didn’t see coming. I really enjoyed the book and will definitely add it to our collection.

Charlie comes back home after a twenty-five years to see his sick mother. We find out that when he was a teen his friends killed another teen from the area.One killer gets away causing a scary and at times heart stopping tale of murder.

I always am so hopeful that a novel about lucid dreaming will be awesome and perfect and creepy. I was stoked to find out that North’s new book was about just that! I liked this book. I thought it was interesting and a page-turner. However, I was definitely disappointed. I found the plot to be more subtle that I wanted. I think North’s first book was so awesome that it’s hard to top.
