I went into it thinking it might not be for me, but it honestly gave me a bit of a Bone Witch vibe? But it was very quick and interesting read, though i wish there were more. That we got to see more of the characters and the main character, growing up, learning and becomming a death witch.
It was a bit hasty to my liking on that note.

Deaths Embrace by Michelle D. Sonnier, a good introductory Novella. A young girl, daughter of a witch finds her power, and it is both less and more than what she wanted.

I really enjoyed this story. You can’t help but love Macaria. The relationship between her and her mother is the sweetest thing to see play out. I look forward to more of this story.
