“The Daughters of Wild Rose Bay” is a story of life after heartache and learning to appreciate what’s in front of you. I have not read all the previous books in the series and I didn’t feel lost. Nice quick read that gives you a peak into Irish life.

Jasmine leaves her home in Paris to revisit her roots in Sandy Cove hoping to find peace and healing after a heart-hurting breakup. Not having stayed very close to her mother, Jasmine wonders how she’ll be received showing up unannounced. Sally, however, embraces her daughter’s return and astonishes Jasmine with her new attitude, raw-food-diet and yoga lifestyle…and a mystery man who is putting a spark back in Sally’s eyes.

As Jasmine and her loyal terrier Milou, settle into life in the quaint cove, she makes friends that quickly welcome her and include her in their social activities, and she is soon intrigued by her own family’s history to Sandy Cove. It’s wonderful to be reunited with familiar friends Maeve, Cordelia, Roisin, and getting an epilogue-ish look into their lives is lovely.

Jasmine is reconnected with her old Paris school mate Aiden, who returned to Sandy Cove and opened a restaurant. When Aiden introduces her to his charming friend Connor, Jasmine surprises herself by accepting his offer to show her around the area.

As Jasmine spends more time exploring the beautiful Irish Coast and trails of Wild Rose Bay, she develops a connection to Sandy Cove…and feelings for Connor. But when Connor’s life has a sudden turn of events, Jasmine is left thinking she should have known better.

As always, Aiden’s shoulder is there for Jasmine but when he breaks the news that he’s going to be leaving Sandy Cove, will Jasmine finally face up to her true feelings?

A genuinely charming, romantic read. Flowing storyline, splendidly depicted scenery, and heart-warming friendships.

Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture, for the read of Susanne O’Leary’s, Daughters of Wild Rose Bay (Sandy Cove Book 4).

Opinions expressed in my reviews are my own.

This book is about a woman who has a bad breakup with her fiancé and flees to her estranged mother's home in Ireland. As the book progresses she is reunited with an old school friend , falls in love again and mends her relationship with her mother. This book moved a little slow for me and didn't keep my attention. It was ok and I might consider reading more from this author in the future.

It was a pleasure to read this story as the other in this series.
The characters are well written, the plot flows and is both engrossing and entertaining.
I look forward to reading the next story by this author.
Recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.

About four months ago I had to leave Sandy Cove with a heavy heart. After having read the stories of Maeve, Roisin, Phil and Cordelia it's great to be back and be able to curl up with a new book taking place in the cosy and warm seaside village.

When you had your heart broken, you want to leave everything behind for a while and take the time to heal. You want nothing to do with the past and the memories are too painful. You can try to hide but closure is what you need to move forward.

Time to have a bit of fun and maybe a chance to find love again, but are you looking for it with the right person...

The author introduces us to a few new kids on the block, but we reconnect with some of the old gang too.

Love is all around, just the way Wet Wet Wet sang it so beautifully. Lovely story. I can't wait to go back again for new adventures. 4 stars.

Thank you, Susanne O'Leary and Bookouture

I love Ireland and this story was a wonderful read. Daughters of Wild Rose Bay, by Susanne O’Lear is a heart warming story of love and second chances. I loved Jasmine and Aiden. This story is about heartache and hope and what can happen if you dare to dream and never give up. I would love to find a place like Wild Rose Bay and set up roots there. I really enjoyed it and can’t wait to read the rest in this series.

'Really enjoyed reading this book. I was hooked from the very first page to the very last. I couldn’t put it down, I heartily recommend this book to others. You are going to enjoy it just as much as I did. Good vacation read. Loved the setting. Another fabulous book from Susanne.

In Daughters of Wild Rose Bay Susanne O’Leary returns to Sandy Cove to tell the story of Sally (in business with Cordelia) and her daughter Jasmine, newly returned to Ireland from France after some difficulties and disappointments. Jasmine finds her mother changed, more accepting, less hovering, and totally into yoga. As mother and daughter reconnect, Jasmine learns more about her Irish family, the O’Rourkes who have a long and often checkered history in the area. Then there is that difficulty from Paris that won’t go away. The story is filled with lots of Irish charm and color as are all the author’s works, but I never felt the connection to this book or these characters that I had with the first three stories in the series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book from NetGalley.

This is a romance novel set in Ireland. Jasmine is fleeing her life in Paris due to her breakup with her fiancé. She retreats to her mother’s house in Sandy Cove Ireland to nurse her wounds. She finds her mother with a new lifestyle.and a new man in her life so Jasmine doesn’t know where she fits in. There is a new restaurant in town and she discovers that the chef is a long ago former best friend, Aiden. This story is about Sally (Jasmine’s mother) and Jasmine’s relationship and finding love. It would be a good summer read for romance fans but not my cup of tea. This was a NetGalley ARC.
