I couldn’t wait to get my hands-on Vixen by Sam Michaels. The third in the Georgina Garrett series.
It’s 1939 Battersea, London. Chamberlin has just declared war. Georgina is working harder than ever with her team, especially Johnny and Victor. She is also living happily with her husband Lash and their three-year-old son Alfie. She is not always liked by some people because of what she does. But she is always there when help is needed. She also has done her bit for the war effort, by counterfeiting ration books to help the people that most need it.
This is another brilliant, action packed episode in the series of the life of Georgina. Not only about her daily routine of her ducking and diving. But this is about family, Love, loyalty and struggles in the times of war. I kind of felt sorry a little for Georgina. While everyone turned for her help in bad times but, not everyone gave her the loyalty and the help that she deserved. I can’t wait to see what happens next in this exciting series.
Another 5 stars from me.

This is the third book of the series and I would definitely recommend you read the first two prior to reading this. Although the author does remind you of previous occurrences in the first two books so you can easily remember the thread of the story.

I have enjoyed reading the series immensely and felt that this final book was even more absorbing and a real page turner. I would highly recommend for a most enjoyable read and feel there is more to come from Georgina Garrett.

I have been patiently waiting for this book having enjoyed the first two in the series. This follows on seamlessly from the last book and starts in September 1939 at the beginning of WW2
All the characters from the last book are there and the story line is just as exciting if not even better.
The story line is gripping and once started I couldn't put it down.
My only disappointment is that I am now going to have to wait for the 4th book in the series to find out what happens next

I received an ARC copy of this book from the Publisher via Netgalley and voluntarily leaving my review.

It's 1939 and Georgina is still going strong as head of Battersea gang. Georgina isn’t a well like woman but if you need help she there.

Their isn’t much quiet going on especially when war about to happen and Georgina and her two most loyal workers Victor and Robert at her side she knows they can win. Sometimes you have to join forces to keep everyone safe. Even though it’s a lot of action danger turmoil there are some great moments with Georgina and her husband Lash and 3 year old son Alfie.

This is great third book in this series I can totally see this being a miniseries on tv with the actress Emilia Clarke or Natalie Dormer as Georgina Garrett.

Thanks to Netgalley and Bookouture for allowing me to read this Arc.
I've read all of Sam Michaels books. She's absolutely gifted!
It's 1939 and Georgina Garrett is still successfully head of her Battersea gang. She's has Victor and Robert, her two most loyal workers alongside. She also has her husband Lash and three year old son.
War has been declared. This book is full of emotion. Loads of laughs but it's also very emotional. A tough and rough time for Georgina. I absolutely cannot wait for her next one!! Worth way more than five stars!

The third Georgina Garrett and after thoroughly enjoying the last two I couldn't wait to get stuck into Vixen. It's September 1939 in Battersea London, working along side Johnny Dymond and gentle giant Victor, Chamberlain declared WW2. They certainly wasn't an easy or quiet moment for them all. Battersea underworld was dangerous and so was the war combined together there's plenty of action in this book. Georgina is not a well liked woman by a lot of the locals but she can hold her own and fights like a man. Living with husband Lash and her three year's old son Alfie, family troubles are always kicking off. She has a lot of respect for her working men and if they got called up would not be a problem for her to wrangle false exemption certificates. A well known face to the police and the gypsies she had them on side. This book is compulsive, addictive and gripping right through with added humour, a few sad moments that will touch you. The author brings all her characters alive and delivers a cracking book once again. My emotions kept changing dramatically about them. The underworld and WW2 joined together united as one.
