A really good book for people who want recipes for gluten-free and to also gluten-proof kitchens which I don’t know how many people think about. The book also goes into the symptoms and different conditions of the disease and I felt like part of it also helps you talk to your doctor about what test should be run. I would take the book in if you own a copy, but maybe more doctors are up on these symptoms now. I found everything about this book helpful and useful a really good book.

The author of this gluten-free cookbook is a registered dietitian with a daughter who has celiac disease, so she knows what's she's talking about. The first chapter is a comprehensive overview of celiac disease, its causes and triggers, and is helpful reading for anyone newly diagnosed. The rest of the book is divided into sections covering baking essentials, breakfast, gluten-free kitchen and pantry, etc. There are even two-week sample meal plans (including scheduled nights for leftovers, which are helpful if you don't want to cook seven nights a week). For anyone who has celiac disease or is caring for a loved one with the disease, this is a helpful and approachable book. The recipes look good for gluten eaters, too!
