I have suffered from anxiety for most of my life and am looking for methods to assist with it that do not require medication. This book lays out holistic methods that I found to be helpful. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a non-medication approach to anxiety management.

Whether you're just starting out with oils or you've been using them for years, like me, this book will teach you something new. I loved the focus on anxiety and which oils can be integrated into your treatment to promote healing. And there are recipes in here that you'll want to drop everything to try (magnesium spray, I'm coming for you). The author has also included a dilution chart that will help if you aren't sure how to use your oils safely.
The formatting was a little awkward on my iOS Kindle app, but not annoying enough to give up. This book will definitely find its way to my physical shelf.
An easy to follow book on essential oils. Nicely organized and recipes that don't require an excessive number of oils. I want to purchase the hard cover because there are so many essential oil things I want to try. Can’t wait to get started!
This is a great book/resource if you are both and new to the essential oils universe. I am not a beginner, but not an expert, so I loved this one to give me hints, but to also take it to the basics and give me the foundation that I don't have because I jumped right into oils without any research!
With the basics done, the book jumps into blends that you can create for different ailments and then different ways to use oils for yourself and your family. I read this book in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic and it was great to read about something that could help sooth anxiety and to be added to a mediation or bath practice!
Excellent and well researched resource. I liked that the author kept it simple and stuck to exactly what the book was about, the best essential oils to calm the anxious soul.
The author breaks down the use of a specific essential oil into simple terms so readers get a full 360 degree view of the use and applications for each one. Included is a summary of each oil, precautions to consider before use, benefits, what the oil is best for, and the various applications for using said oil. The recipes are diverse and include instructions on how to make blends for the diffuser, roll on bottles, inhalers, sprays, and more. These recipes are easy to understand, and include helpful hints about how to apply and dilution.
In addition, I also appreciated the inclusion of suggested breathing exercises and meditations.
