I thought the book was intriguing when reading description but somehow it just didn't work with me, sadly. I also didn't realise that it was a sequel somehow so that might also have been part of the problem.
I liked the book! I found a very attractive story, a good plot, but in my opinion it sinned in some things. But in general a good experience!
I read the preview of the book and i tought this would be an stand alone one....but nop....its a sequel, i try to read this and finished but i could not couse nothing make sense i was lost, and i was so slow...maybe one day i will read the first part and the read this one....but for now, i cant keep forcing myself

Unfortunately I didn't get on with this story. I found it so disjointed and made little to no sense. It wasn't what I thought it was about at all. It had a diverse range of characters but the story itself was just all over the place.
Warning: this book might make sense if you read the others in the series. If you start with this one (like me) you will have no idea what is going on. I kept debating not finishing this book, then convincing myself it would make sense if I read just a little longer. By the end i thought maybe i knew what was happening, then I lost it again. Scenes with characters and events that don’t connect to anything until (maybe) the end, this entire book was an exercise in frustration. I wish i had just gone ahead and not finished it,

I loved the first instalment in this series and I loved this one.
It's well written, the characters are well developed, the world building interesting, the plot flows and is engrossing.
An entertaining read, highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.
