DNF... I tried to read this book a few times, but it was too much of a slog for me. I cannot honestly rate it because I did not finish.

I've seen quite a few reviews praising this book and I am sure it is amazing but I am also pretty sure I definitely attempted to read it at a bad time for me, which made me not enjoy it. I will gladly give it another attempt when my situation is better as it seems it is a good book!!

I’m throughly in love with Norse mythology, and this book did not disappoint! It is wonderfully written, and you can really tell the author researched into the topic fully. The story is immersive, the characters are well-developed and the plot is structured really well!

This is an interesting Norse gods tale that spans the generations. I enjoyed the characters and the story telling.

What a discover! It's a well written and entertaining fantasy novel, the start of a new series.
I loved the well thought and well researched world building, the well developed cast of characters, and the plot that flows.
I look forward to reading the next instalment in this series.
Highly recommended.
