I'm not becoming an Interior Designer but I love reading about it anyway. This book is definitely filled with lots of advice and is helpful in hearing the author's story.

I was excited to check out this series, as it sounds like a valuable resource for libraries and career counselors. This volume explores the responsibilities and path to becoming an interior designer by profiling the operators of a firm in Brooklyn. The personal stories and comments of the designers made it feel more like a magazine article and less like a manual, which I'm not sure is the most helpful to the audience. I learned a bit about the process of how a project is accomplished from start to finish, but some of the other factual details were a bit vague. Still, it should help someone considering this career to envision their options.

Thank you to the publishers and NetGalley for the opportunity to review a temporary digital ARC in exchange for an unbiased review.
