This was a sweet and quick read. Loved the main character and her development. And the family dynamics, og=h god. loved them!
Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for the review copy.
This book was adorable! I loved Huck and I am super picky about rockstar romance novels. His relationship with his daughter was just so sweet and endearing. Also, the mental health representation was realistic and nice to see in a romance. I definitely recommend this book!
This book had really great potential. I liked the mental health (anxiety) rep and the overall concept and characters were good. However, it was all over the place. The pacing was weird and the main character kept giving me emotional whiplash. Things would be hot and cold and then hot and then cold in just about every conversation/interaction with the love interest until about 90% and then suddenly everything was just great and all was solved? A bit of a train wreck.
This was a cute small town romance with a more serious vibe, considering our heroine Amelia suffers from anxiety. I read this one as a stand alone however I think it would be better suited to those that have read the other books in the series.
you shouldn't name your character something super close to your other character in a pervious book, i kept thinking i was still reading about the other girl.
This was a cute small-town story. The book started off great but lost me a little half way through the book. A quick read and overall enjoyable.
Super cute and what a fast read this one was. This is the 3rd in a series but it seems they are all stand alone because I had no problem with any backstory. I love series reads that are completely stand alone. I feel like anyone can pick up a book at any time. Although they do make me want to read the rest of the series. Bad news for my wallet. LOL
I love a good story where the rock star falls for the normal person. It always gives a birdseye view into how that could actually happen. Amelia and Huck, sigh. I loved them. I thought the banter between them was fantastic. I really enjoyed seeing their relationship grow and I loved the laugh out loud moments. I felt sometimes that Amelia seemed a bit immature in a couple of the interactions with Huck which seemed a bit unbelievable for me. But perhaps that was how her anxiety was portrayed.
I really enjoyed this one 4.5 stars from me.
The Plan is the third book in the Creek Water series, and it was a quick listen. I’m pretty sure it is on Kindle Unlimited if you want to read it. I’m pretty neutral on this series as a whole - the books were fine. I’m not sure I would have kept reading…I had them on @NetGalley, so I felt like I needed to finish the series.
Thanks to @NetGalley for my ARC!
This was a sweet small-town story that just flowed very well. I really liked both Amilia and Huck, as well as the supporting characters (didn’t realize this was part of a series). It was a quick read that I enjoyed. I recommend.
**I voluntarily read and reviewed this book
unfortunately not my cup of tea - i found the dialogue jarring and difficult to follow and i doing it difficult to connect with any characters. Perhaps a better read if you follow the series
This is the 3rd book in series. Amelia has a bead shop in town and wants everyone to think she’s happy but in reality she has a lot of anxiety. Because of this she doesn’t go out of her comfort zone. Huck comes to town with his daughter For a few months. These 2 bond over the daughter who also has anxiety issues. As Amelia & Huck fall I love, Amelia finds herself getting over some of her issues. This book was a good romantic read.
At first I was disappointed with this one. I mean being a control freak and a beader kind of go hand in hand. Also weird family dynamic but I learned that this series is best when read in order. Maybe I will fell different after I read the first two.
Unfortunately, I really struggled with this book - that might have been because it’s part of a series that I haven’t read and didn’t realise this when I requested the book.
I can see from the reviews of others that they really enjoyed this book, but sadly it wasn’t for me.
I would recommend that others read the series first, if you’re interested in reading this book
Not really a fan of this book. The dialect was super hard to follow and understand. Also I don’t think that Missouri is a southern state. Maybe my opinion comes from the fact that I tried to read this book as a stand alone, when it is actually a part of a series.

Amelia has lived a quiet life in the town where she grew up. She plans to continue living that quiet life until Huck the rock star comes into her life. She and Huck’s daughter bond over their shared anxieties. Amelia and Huck develop a tenuous relationship and end up falling in love.
This book was all over the place. It was a sweet Christian novel, then Huck was seducing her one day after meeting her. I have anxiety and this book was very triggering in a number of ways. The way it was so dismissive about “curing” the anxiety. The coping mechanisms. It was all a hot mess. I loved the concept but I couldn’t get over the mood swings.
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions and thoughts are my own.

I struggled with this book and put it down halfway through. I really wanted to love it and liked Huck and Maggie so much, but as a Missourian, I spent more time texting my friend about how frustrated I was at the portrayal of us as Southern that it just wasn't something I could give my reading minutes to. There just aren't enough minutes for me to spend them frustrated. Thank you for letting me try! I really do appreciate the opportunity and I am so hopeful that those without a personal connection will enjoy this as they should.
Great story set in a wonderful town. The story is a continuation of this series but can be read as a stand alone. Though once you read this you will be amiss not to buy the other books.

4/5 Stars
Thank you #NetGalley and author for a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
This is the third book in a series. I havent read the rest of the series and quite frankly thought this book was a great standalone book. I have previously read though some of Whitneys Dineens book and loved her sense of humour which comes across in her writing. This is a more serious book than her usual ones but I still loved it. The book was a lovely enjoyable read and was great to pick up and put down. I liked the way she dealt with her anxiety and that was a superbly well written part of the plot. Some of it was a little annoying in the fact that it felt like Amelias first romance than a more mature woman but perhaps if you have great anxiety thats how the mind thinks! Overall though I really enjoyed this book. It was a quick read but enjoyable, light hearted enough and definitely worth a place on anyways beach bag list!
This was very cute! I really enjoyed that yes while it was a romance, it deals with the serious aspect of mental health--like anxiety-- and how it is something people of all ages deal with. Maggie and Amelia's bond because of their respective anxieties is something that was so sweet and nice to read, especially them teaching each other how to cope and better themselves when a panic attack would loom for them. Huck is hottttt. Overall, a fun and cute read!
