This cookbook had some really great recipes. The recipes were easy to understand and not too complicated for the average cook. I enjoyed the illustrations and look forward to making these recipes for years to come.

Great explanations on Cholesterol and how the body works. The recipes sound great and it is nice that they are for smaller batches so you do not have to eat the same thing for the whole week, or worse eat too much in one sitting.

This is a nice cookbook with a great selection of recipes. I was surprised by how many recipes there were and by the amount of information about low-cholesterol cooking that was included. It's especially nice that these recipes make smaller portions for those who are just cooking for two as opposed to a family. I would have loved if there were more photos throughout but that is really my only critique.

Cooking for just two people feels mundane, as we have the same things. This book provided recipes that are great for those struggling with high cholesterol, but I personally enjoyed seeing the recipes that are tailored for two people. I have not tried any yet, but have some meals planned from this book later in the week.

The advice in this cookbook about low-cholesterol cooking is the standard advice your doctor has probably already given you. Although the recipes are nicely sized for two people, the vast majority of them are just weird with odd combinations of ingredients that don't appear to have any reason to be together. A bigger flaw for most readers is that the authors rely far more on milk substitutes than on non- or low-fat milk. That gives the wrong message to the readers. For all their advice about not eating processed foods, these foods are highly processed.

To be quite honest out of 100 recipes, less than 10% are ones that looked appetizing instead of weird.
