An exploration into modern insights regarding the spiritual development of children.
The author works with children in a British Anglican context which informs the conversation. She describes different psychological theories, forms of personality development, spiritual styles, and social development. She talks about how faith grows and develops. She advocates for the godly play model and describes how she puts it into place. She considers how to connect the home, the school, and the church to work together to help children grow and mature in a holistic and healthy way.
The godly play construct and insights from psychology prove very helpful in stimulating wonder and interest. A lot of good things to consider here.
