Number 13 in the series does not disappoint!
This series is a guaranteed great read.
The characters are interesting and the story was even better than I expected.
The whodunit was full of twists and kept me guessing.
I highly recommend this book.
I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
I was thrilled with this installment! All the characters are in fine form and Natasha, Mars, and Sophie are making me laugh
This is one of my most favorite cozy mystery series. I eagerly await each new book. Davis creates such a homey atmosphere even when bad things happen. Sophie is hired to complete a cookbook for a local resident. The previous ghostwriter disappeared. Sophie finds an odd code and gets sucked into another mystery when another woman goes missing. Natasha has a surprise in her life. I was stumped on the mystery for most of the book. The recipes are mouthwatering. I love the cover art.
I have wanted to try out this series and was excited to get this eARC. At the beginning of the book, it was a little confusing with lots of names and random people acting in weird ways, but it's not surprising given how established this series is. Despite this or maybe because of it, my attention was hooked and I ended up reading this book at one shot. It's a cute little mystery (or group of mysteries?) together that seem to be linked together around the group of people Sophie just got introduced to! I enjoyed reading Sophie's theories and while it's a little far fetched to think that the local police detective is willing to take your calls at all hours with her zany theories, the fact that she's willing to cook and bake and be generous with her time probably makes her a really friendly person that you're willing to go the extra mile for. I enjoyed reading the recipes woven into the story and liked the way all the threads tied together and genuinely liked the characters - I'll definitely want to read more of the series and the author!
Disclaimer: I received this eARC from the publisher in exchange for a review. All opinions my own.
There's nothing I enjoy more than curling up with the latest book in the domestic diva series by Krista Davis.
Sophie and Natasha are my favorite characters, their clumsy relationship always puts a smile on my face.
This book has a great mystery and is full of twists and turns.
Fans of this series will be eager to read The Diva Spices It Up.
This is a typical book in this series. I enjoyed the spy aspect of the story line. The mystery of it. I found certain parts of the book to be slow but overall it's well paced and interesting with all the spy, investigating going on by most of the characters. I enjoyed it and the ending reveal made sense of all the mysteries going on. #TheDivaSpicesItUp #NetGalley
At first, this mystery seems confusing. There are so many moving parts, secrets and suspects. But there’s a point where everything clicks together and fits into place. This is a consistently good series, with lots of fun characters and relationships.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I was not paid for this review.
