Since I stupidly refused to read the annoying small print booklet that came with my Instant Pot, I very much appreciate that this cookbook starts off with an explanation of the Instant Pot’s mysterious programs and confusingly-labeled buttons. (Why one earth don’t they have a Start button? I want to push a Start and Stop button, sigh). There’s a section on accessories that you might want to add to your Instant Pot later, like a steamer basket and an egg steamer trivet. I also appreciate that there’s a side note on doubling the recipes in this cookbook for your 6 quart Instant Pot if you have one.

Hey, I just realized one reason someone might bake in an Instant Pot. How about a dorm room, where you aren’t allowed to have an oven? This all makes sense now!

I’m definitely going to pick up a copy of this Instant Pot cookbook – I can make the sides and veggies for myself, and some of the meat dishes for my boyfriend. We definitely need to eat healthier lately, so I appreciate the recipes in this cookbook.

Good recipes if you have access to unusual items.

The healthy recipes sound good and look appealing in the photos. Unfortunately, I live in a rural area and even smoked paprika for the Easy Potato Cauliflower Mash was impossible to find. I was able to try the Parmesan Green Beans with Bacon. They were excellent.

This Instant Pot cookbook is great for beginners. The book explains well what an Instant Pot is and how to choose one. The visuals were very helpful and all recipes were explained in enough detail to make the recipes seem manageable. I do wish that each recipe had an associated picture, because it would help to visually associate the ingredients in a picture. The recipes look delicious and I am excited to try them!

I'm always on a hunt for healthier recipes for my instant pot. This books seems to do the job pretty well. I love how detailed the beginning of the book is - perfect for newbies in the kitchen or with the instant pot.
The recipes are fun and versatile but... maybe there are too many ingredients on some. Makes it more difficult for execution.
Anyways, safely, 4.5 stars

As the owner of a 3-quart Duo Mini Instant Pot for the last several years, all too often I find that books geared towards larger 6-qt and 8-qt models simply aren't doable with the Duo Mini (which is great for single households or couples).

Enter "Healthy Instant Pot Mini Cookbook." With 100 ideas geared specifically towards the advantages (and yes, limitations) of the 3-qt model, you'll find a wide range of ideas from appetizers to dessert, including gluten-free and vegetarian options too.

I really appreciated that cookware sizes were given, as one of the challenges I've faced is finding cheesecake / cake / loaf pans small enough to fit inside the Duo Mini, which is about 6" across. Having the pan sizes makes it a breeze to jump over on Amazon and find compatible bakeware (the official Instant Pot pans tend to be sized for the 6-qt and larger models only).

Overall, many creative and tasty recipes I look forward to cooking on a regular basis!

I love cooking quick and healthy meals and I got excited when I got a copy of this book. The cover is pretty and makes me want to read the book (and eat the featured food). InstantPot is a great kitchen gem and can be used for several different recipes and that's what this book is about. There are recipes for breakfast, entrees, soups, stews, sides, veggies, dips, snacks, appetizers and desserts and they are all healthy options.

The author gives us a great amount of information about the InstantPot and some other accessories that you can get. There's also information about the pressure cooking process, methods of releasing pressure, slow cooker, sauté and keep warm option. If you have the 6-quart instead of the 3-quart, she also teaches you how to double the recipes.

The recipes are very clear, easy to read and understand, and the instructions are straight forward. There are nutritional facts on each recipe as well as serving size, prep time, pressure time, total time and some cooking tips. It's a great book but I would make less than a half of the recipes because there's no picture for every recipe so I can't see how the recipe would look like and sadly I end up no wanting to make it. There are some awesome food pictures but mostly of the recipes I would make have no picture.

Healthy and mini were the words which drew my attention in. I am new to this type of utensil so having a well-laid out cookbook like this will be a tremendous asset. I loved that there were pictures and detailed instructions in the cookbook along with nutritional information for each recipe. I wish there would have been more pictures because sometimes it is hard to picture how a dish will look when it is complete.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher and NetGalley. I am anxious to now be able o start using my instant pot & this will really be a big help with that adventure!

Beautiful Cookbook! I love the photos in this book. The recipes are simple and easy to understand. This cookbook is unique because it provides small portion recipes for an instant pot! I love that because I only cook for two. I wish there were more photos in this cookbook!

A lot of these recipes sounded really good and I’m excited to start using my instant pot. I got it a while ago and haven’t really used it so this was a perfect way to start getting into it

I pretty much jumped for joy when I saw this book! I DO have a small instant pot and though I can kind of figure out how to adapt other recipes, having a cookbook that does it for me is a real plus. This cookbook fills a niche and it will satisfy a lot of us who are tired of trying to figure out how to alter recipes.
On top of that, the recipes are well presented, have health ingredients, and the presentation is excellent making it an easy-to-use book and as the photos are enticing, the reader will be incentivized to use it. If you have an Instant Pot Mini, you won't regret buying this book. Can it please have a sequel?

OMG..... swoon. Love this! Ok, so I don’t actually own an instant pot but I’ve been wanting one. Let me just tell you..... after these spectacular recipes and directions... I bought an instant pot. I have an insane love for cookbooks. A curiosity for cooking and variant recipes because I love vegan and vegetarian recipes. So this was a great book... flawless.

What did I like? Recipes had everything you needed and how to follow guide for your instant pot. The instant pot also uses mason jars, and mini Bundt cake pans for cute desserts. There was a ton of pictures too....which we salivated over. From Tabbouleh to buttermilk pancake bites...there is something for everyone. Author gives you what program to use from the instapot... release method, prep time, and pressure time for every recipe ...which cuts out a ton of guesswork. Simply put though an amazing cookbook.

Would I buy or recommend? I am very lucky that I get to view cookbooks for a reviewing pleasure but this was a great one. Loved the pictures, food looked amazing. I think instapot lovers need this cookbook. Definitely some healthy recipes! So get your copy!

Thoughts for the author? Loved this cookbook! Five amazing stars. From the pictures to the easiness! It totally sold me on buying an instapot.

The focus here is healthy - in portion size and recipes/ingredients. E.g., substitutions for flour are given and nearly all ingredients are healthy whole foods. As well, there are some creative solutions for small size cooking (such as using small mason jars for flour-based items). The book has a LOT of recipes and is very thorough in the breadth offered. Each recipe is very cleanly laid out and easy to follow.

The book breaks down as follows: Introduction (introducing the instapot mini, getting to know your appliance, programs, equipment, using your instapot mini); Breakfast; Entrees, Soups, and Stews; Sides and Veggies; Snacks and Appetizers; Deserts; Index. The recipes include: Cheesy grits with a kick, cheesy broccoli and rice soup, hummus, no fuss black beans, brown rice dolmas, maple buckwheat hot cereal with hemp hearts, Greek chicken gyro bowls.

Recipes have a very smart layout. Large size title with a brief introduction, servings/size/prep/pressure/total time listed separately, ingredients listed on the left in italics and then short, block numbered steps. The steps are not too large to where you are on one step forever. There are tips at the bottom along with nutrition serving info. Also nice is that the program mode, release to be used (quick or natural), and allergy info are also given separately and in a place easy to read.

The book has many photographs, especially at the beginning of the various accessories. For the recipes, there is a photograph every 3 recipes or so.

The emphasis is on healthy, There is little amount of sugar and sweetening is done very often with e.g., honey. As well, healthier options such as tamari instead of soy sauce are the more likely ingredients you will find. The recipes have a huge variety and had some interesting items I had never seen before (such as cranberry chicken).

As with all insta-pot recipe books, be advised that you will need to buy several accessories in order to use the recipes. The accessories are all outlined in the beginning but it would have been nice if the recipes also listed which accessories were needed in a separate area. You won't know what accessory you need (or may not have) until well into the recipe.

In all, a nice healthy set of recipes with smaller portion sizes. A clean format and easy-to-follow instructions make this an excellent book. Reviewed from an advance reader copy provided by the publisher.

Looking for healthy options for your instant pot? Wonderful organic whole food recipes without beef but chicken is included, even desserts.
A few ingredients may be hard to find at the local midwestern grocery store but can be ordered online or purchased in health food stores, like cassava flour or matcha.

At less than 100 pages this cookbook will be a supplement to your other instant pot cookbooks to add healthy variety to your weekly meals.

Although this book is written for the smaller, 3-quart Instant Pot, I have found wonderful recipes in every Instant Pot book written. The smaller pot recipes can easily be increased for the larger pots.

How about Nourishing Chicken Noodle Soup for dinner; then Mochaccino Lava Cake for dessert? Prep and pressure time for both—just under an hour. There is an excellent section on selecting equipment. With the wide range of foods that can be cooked in this pot, you will want to locate the various equipment that can be found today for the whole realm of foods that can be made if you don’t already have them. Let’s get back to eating and cooking healthy, delicious, meals. It once took an entire day to prepare food and cook it before you could sit down and enjoy it. Today, you can do it in an Instant!

As a household of two, our biggest issue with so many instant pot cookbooks is that each of the recipes leave us with so many leftovers. This cookbook helps with that issue.

I picked up this cookbook thinking that it was for a crock pot. It wasn't until I started flipping through this that I realized it was for the 3- quart instant pot mini. I decided to peruse through the book regardless and I am amazed at how easy the recipes are and there are common ingredients that one may already have in the kitchen. The bold faced words specify the setting on the pressure cooker and the duration. I am now convinced that I need to purchase the instant pot for my kitchen.

My biggest worry? How to justify this purchase to my husband. Does being quarantined qualify?!

This book is beautify laid out with full coloured pictures and straight forward instructions. For those new to Instant Pot it gives a great introduction to the appliance at the start of the book.. this would take away a lot of uncertainty to someone new to pressure cooking. It gives a variety of recipes for all meals and occasions. It would make a great gift to include with the appliance. It will definitely become part of my kitchen library.
