While this sequel doesn't quite capture the magic of the original it is a more than worthy follow up. Julian and a young friend play while at a wedding, shedding gender stereotypes as they go. It's another portrait of a loving and accepting family group and how much joy can be had when expectations are let go in favor of being yourself. I highly recommend this book.
