I've been a fan of Jennifer Perkins for years- you can always count on her for fun crafty goodness. This book is no exception! It's chock-full of easy and accessible craft projects for the youngsters in your life. Many use recycled/reused materials; any materials you'd need to purchase are easy to find and inexpensive. My favorites are the wearable items- there are cool t-shirt projects, a colorful sneaker treatment, groovy patches, etc. The drip painted clay pots are neat too! I don't have kids, but there are quite a few projects I'd like to try. With each project, there's a "messy meter" and a guide to how much adult supervision is needed, which will help parents or other caregivers know how much prep and cleanup is involved. I know I would've loved this book when I was a kid, and I think my nephews will enjoy it too!

Never would I think to use shaving cream to marble paint - but thanks to this book, I do now! Or, using a rolling pin and foam stickers to create prints. This book was pretty unique to me in that it suggests mediums that are outside of the box and easily found at home. Cooped up during the pandemic, I'm creating themed craft kits and games to send to the young one in my life - and since it's not easy to run to a craft store to update my dwindling craft supplies, I appreciated this book even more for its versatility and new ideas using recycled/found-at-home materials. The photos/instructions are easy to follow and slightly inspiring to tweak them based on the themes I'm working with. Thank you!

This is a great arts and crafts book and it’s perfect for young artists.
One thing I really like about it is as a parent is that you don’t need a lot of experience so it is an excellent resource for just exploring and enjoying art with your children. The book includes a “messy meter” for the projects so you ahead of time what to expect and I’m sure any parent out there has been in the middle of an art adventure wishing they had known ahead of time that cleanup was a bit more intense than expected. The essential tools and materials needed is also informative so you can plan ahead for the next craft day.

I recommend this book for anyone interested in crafting with children. I received this book from NetGalley and Calisto Publishing for an honest review.

Oh wow! Such a great arts and crafts book. Several things set this book apart, the first being all of these crafts are accessible and something anyone can do! You don't have to be "crafty". This book is filled with fun activities for all levels. Another amazing stand out for this book is the "messy meter" listed with each activity!
I love how this book starts off giving you some essential tools and materials to always have on hand, then lists everything you need for each individual craft. I also really love the 10 tips that are given before diving into the crafts. I recommend this book for anyone with children (or if you're a child at heart and like crafts). Thank you #NetGalley and #CallistoMedia &

Very neat book with tons of cool arts and crafts projects for kids! All of the projects use household and easy to find items. The huge breadth of activities will let kids express their creativity and use/wear their creations! Directions are laid out clearly with a note about how messy each project is. I would definitely recommend this for budding artists age 8 and up.

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for providing this ARC.
