The Empowered Highly Sensetive Person by Amanda Cassil is a wonderful workbook for anyone who wants to be more empowered. This is a good guide for those new to being a HSP ( highly sensitive person) and also those who think they may be. I enjoyed the exercise s found in the workbook and definitely came out more empowered than before. I would highly recommend it.

I would like to thank Netgalley and the Publisher for providing me with a copy free of charge. This is my honest and unbiased opinion of it.

I am not one who usually finds self-help books "helpful" but I wanted to give this one a try since it's a workbook and I had never really explored my HSP side beyond acknowledging it and knowing that I *am* an HSP. I ended up skimming a lot of this book however, because so many of the things that were outlined and explained were either things I was already acutely aware of or didn't apply to my life. In a way, helped me discover that I actually have a fairly good hold on and understanding of my HSP traits... however it also left me wanting more, more intensive information on being an HSP, the outliers if you will. Some of the questions that were in the workbook seemed trended towards otherwise neurotypical people and those who follow the standard societal norms... but what about those of us who don't and who have other psychological issues (not caused by being an HSP). It might be a topic for a different book however! This one as it is, is great for people who have just found out that they are, or suspect they are, an HSP, and want to try and maximize their lives so that they can be themselves, rather than trying to fit themselves into a societally "normal" shaped box.

I am an extremely sensitive person and tend to dwell on things long after they are over. It felt like the author wrote this workbook for me, as everything that I struggle with was in here! The simple techniques offered by the author were extremely helpful in dealing with situations that came up after reading this. I recommend this to anyone else that is a highly sensitive person.
