This is a slow burn cute romance story which will just melt your heart. This is the story of Peaches and Colin, these characters are well written and very likeable. This story is more sweet romance than a hot and steamy one. This is the first book by this author that I've read and I'll definitely read more. This is a well written, sweet romance story with fab characters.

This is a story of love and redemption. Colin is back in Colorado looking to redeem himself with the people he has hurt. On his road he meets a wonderful woman, Peaches, who becomes his North Star. Peaches is a care giver at heart and brings out the best in Colin. In the process she manages to bring all the parties together, bring Colin back into the fold, and fall in love. One of the two best characters of the story are Wiseass the dog and Carol the restaurant owner’s daughter. Both are open and straightforward in their love for others and brings joy to the people around them.

Wild Love by Meg Benjamin is a slow burn romance between a chef and brewer. This was a sweet romance but it was over all underwhelming. There wasn't anything I particularly disliked but nothing that stood out as amazing either. I enjoyed chef Peaches with her big heart and the food she whipped up sounded delicious. Brewer Colin was alright but nothing special. There was really no excuse for the way he handled his situation before leaving Antero the last time, there's such a thing as a telephone. It was admirable that he tried his hardest to earn back everyone's trust and work his way out of rock bottom. Overall, it was a sweet romance and I'd be interested in reading more by the author in the future.

More sweet than steamy romance. Both have pasts that make this relationship hard…
What a sweet love story. Peaches Guidry has high hopes for the new brewpub coming to Antero and she wants her restaurant, Salty Goat, to make a splash at the opening. To that end she continues to think of items to make for the food part of the event. The pub will take care of the drinks obviously. This restaurant has become her life since settling down here.
Colin Brooks has returned to Antero, Colorado to apologize for his inconvenient departure which put his brewpub partners in the lurch. What they don’t know is that he had very good reasons for leaving and staying until things were solved. However, the solution brought him back to Antero with absolutely nothing. His car broke down as he entered town, he has the clothes on his back basically and no money for a place to stay. When he is given an opportunity to rectify what he had done, he takes it, all while knowing he still has no place to stay or much else. When he goes to Salty Goat, he finds they need a janitor. Wow, having grown up in luxury, taking this job is just another sign that he has fallen about as far as he could go.
This was such a great story of overcoming hardships, pulling yourself up, taking responsibility for your actions and giving and taking help as it is needed. Along the way two lonely people find they enjoy each other’s company. Some plot devices were inevitable and others were surprising. This book is written in dual POV. Loved the ending which brings everything to a happy conclusion. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book through Entangled/NetGalley and I give it 4.5 beautiful stars.

This was a cute slow burn story. Learned a lot about beer and how to brew it (which I found really interesting).

Peaches manages the Salty Goat cafe. First of all, awesome name for a cafe! She's been stressing about making the perfect dessert for the opening of a new brewpub in town that is supposed to get huge recognition from food critics. This is her chance to prove that they can expand the Salty Goat.

Then in walks Colin Brooks and his hound puppy, Wiseass. Second of all, this dogs name made me giggle every time I read it. Colin is your typical, gorgeous male specimen. He's had a rough go of it and recently lost everything. His uncle passed away and left him nothing but Wiseass. So he's back in Antero to try to make amends.

He screwed over the owners of the brewpub when he left awhile back and he has every intention of earning their forgiveness and being allowed to brew beer with them again. Will they forgive him? Will Peaches give him a chance? Wiseass was the glue to this story and I love her!

An enjoyable, cute read from Meg Benjamin.

Peaches is looking to grow her career as a chef and plans on partnering with the local brewery's pub to showcase her menu. She meets Colin when he returns to town. He doesn't have a great reputation there and she is unsure if getting involved is a good idea.

I thought the friendship and chemistry between Peaches and Colin were the best part of the story. There was some back and forth as their attraction grows while trying to figure out their lives.

I have not read the first two books in this series, but was not lost at all.

Peaches is a chef with dreams. She has ideas for menus, new recipes & expansion. Colin has a lot to prove after leaving town a few years ago.

I liked the concept of this book. Peaches is extremely sweet and caring, although the name Peaches just makes me think of the Ice Age movies... Anyway, Peaches has her own struggles but is always there when people need her. Colin is broke, wants redemption & will do anything to prove himself to his business partners. I enjoyed the friendship and felt that they had chemistry, I think it could have been fleshed out a little more, and the sarcastic internal dialogue was getting a little annoying. Sometimes less is more.
Overall it was a quick easy read and I want to keep going. I had a great time.

4 Star review Wild Love by Meg Benjamin

Meg Benjamin is a new author to me. This is a story based in Antero, Colorado and is Peaches Guidry and Colin Brooks’s story. It was well written and I found the characters easy to relate too.
Looking to improve her business, Peaches wants to go into partnership with Antero Brewing. Peaches is intrigued by Colin, who has returned home to Antero, despite her friends warning her to be careful.
There is more to Colin than his bad boy reputation, if only people would give him a chance to prove he has changed.
There is a lot of toing and froing between Peaches and Colin and at times I felt the story dragged a little, but then that is only my opinion. This was a sweet and at times romantic story that was entertaining.

I recevied a copy of this book from the publisher through NetGalley

I loved the concept of this book, but the way it was conveyed didn’t sit right with me. I thought the relationship between Peaches and Collin was a little forced in the beginning. Collin didn’t give Peaches any reason to fall in love with her, but all of a sudden she was. The whole timeline felt a little rushed.

I did like the ending more, when all the characters were starting to have a change of heart and were getting a long. I think that was the saving grace.

All together, the book was fairly enjoyable.

Wild Love was a wonderfully sweet, well written, nicely paced romance. That had me engaged throughout thanks to a storyline that was more involved than I anticipated and characters who were well-rounded, likable, and interesting. And with an easy romance, no drama and just a touch of emotion, I found it very enjoyable to read, and I would happily recommend it to others.

While the storyline was interesting and well written, I just didn’t feel a lot of chemistry between Colin and Peaches ( that name, too, wasn’t doing it for me. I rarely have an aversion to names but I have a big time one with Peaches).
Having not read either of the preceding books in the series, I was slightly confused as to Bec’s witchiness towards Colin. I mean, I understand some hurt and anger, but I’m wondering how their relationship was described in her book. Either way, Wild Love can be read as a stand-alone.
The elements for a great romance were there, but it wasn’t a great romance to this reader.

Peaches is a chef with dreams. She has ideas for menus and new recipes. Last thing she had on her horizon was a man, however what could she do when Colin Brooks walks into her life with his dog, Wiseass (how hilarious is that). Colin has a lot to prove after walking away from so many responsibilities years ago.

I liked the concept of this book. Peaches is extremely sweet and caring. She has a lot on her shoulders however she is there when people need her. Colin is hardworking and really puts himself out there. Together they make a great team however there was something missing. It wasn't natural in my opinion, yes it was sweet how Peaches helps Colin to get back on his feet. I loved their friendship.

This book is part of a series, however it can be read a standalone. I agree however I did find myself asking who was that character again and what was the connection.

Overall I liked the concept of this book, would I re read it? Probably not.

I can always count on Meg Benjamin for a smart, sweet romance featuring likable characters who act like adults and who actually like each other and have a real connection. This book is my favorite in the series and a great end to it. In the previous books, Colin was always a mystery. The way he just left town and left Bec and Liam holding the bag with no explanation left a huge hole in their lives both personal and professional, and they had to really scramble to fix it. Consequently, when he finally returns, their anger and disappointment is palpable and justified. Colin knows he screwed up big time, but because he IS a decent guy, he owns his mistake and is willing to do what he can, within reason, to make amends for it.

Meeting Peaches when he first returns is the one bright spot in his life. She's everything fresh and cheerful and there is an immediate mutual attraction between them, but what I really liked was that they developed a friendship, not just a romantic relationship. They were genuinely nice and respectful toward each other and it felt like their relationship had a good foundation for the future. There's a bit of melancholy underlying this story due to Colin's actions in the past and his attempts to make amends in the present, but by the end of the book, there is a sense of relief and hopefulness that he has righted all of his relationships with the other people in Antero and can move forward. As for Peaches, she's also on a good, hopeful path toward getting what she wants in life (romantically and professionally) and the book ends on a high note for both of them.

Wild Love by Meg Benjamin a brewing four-star read. This was sweet and romantic and had plenty of flavour, this was my first read by this author but it wont be the last as I enjoyed the writing, so will be going back to read the other stories in the Brewing Love series as if they are as good as this one I am sure I will enjoy them, I should note that they truly are stand-alone’s in the series as I haven’t read any of them and didn’t feel lost. Peaches and Colin both have great stories and they will make you care about them; Colin will surprise you with how much you care for the bad boy and get his story. Overall this was lovely and well done, it just took a little while to get going, if the whole thing was written with the pace of the last half it would have been five-stars.

I received a copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This book was so freakin adorable. I loved Colin and Peaches so much. Also the fact that the puppy was named Wiseass was hilarious. I have been on such a romance kick lately and this is just another favorite to add to my romance list. It was fun and filled with some loveable and great characters. I give this book 5 out of 5 stars.

This is a quitessential love story... Peaches falls in love with the bad boy she shouldn't love just when her fresh start is taking off.. I didn't find anything new with this story. The writing was good, the characters well developed, but nothing new.

Thank you Netgalley for allowing me to read this and give my honest opinion.

I attempted to get into this one, but it just wasn’t the story for me. I gave up around 10%. As stated above, I did not finish reading this one.

The story of Peaches and Colin

He is back in town - when he left, he left his friends and business partners in trouble. Will they give him a chance now he is back.
Peaches is new is town so doesn't know the history. She is drawn to Colin, and his dog Wiseass, but will everyone warn her off him?

I haven't read the other books in the series, but still enjoyed reading this one

I enjoyed this romance and found myself smiling while reading it. Peaches, a local chef, meets Colin, a bad boy with lots of wrongs to make up for, when he first strolls into town. She is drawn to him, but knows to beware of pretty boys. Colin feels the same tug, but his life is a disaster and he has nothing to offer to a woman and can't even take care of himself.

The push/pull between the characters as their romance developed was entertaining, sweet, and just a bit sexy. I really liked the individual stories that each of the characters were facing independently, but yet intertwined.

If you enjoy the genre, you will want to add this to your TBR list. I'm giving this one four stars, but only because it felt like the story lagged at times.
