Debbie Macomber, as always, does not disappoint. The strength of a families love, the bond between sisters. The wonderfulness of forgiveness and second chances. The love af good friends and the support of a community. The ability to change because of the strength of your love for someone. The quiet solitude, great beauty and personal contemplation done while on A Walk Along the Beach.

Very emotional book and sad story. Not what I was expecting from this author. I do not like sad books as I read for enjoyment. I have seen to much cancer in my family to want to read about it

I really enjoyed this book. It was heartwarming and sad at the same time. I liked Harper, because she had a seize the day attitude. She did her best to not let anything stop her from doing what she wanted. I liked Willa also because she was overprotective of the people she cared about although it drove me crazy sometimes while reading the book :) I want to thank netgalley and the publishers for letting me read this in exchange for an honest review

Another warm story from Macomber. Willa and Harper are adult sisters who have relied on each other through the loss of their mom, Harper's cancer battle, and all of the adventures that life brings their way. A handsome visitor to Willa's coffee shop intrigues Harper as she starts to play the role of matchmaker. The story evolves from there...and touches on many different struggles.

Emotional family drama dealing with cancer of a loved one and the impact on family and friends. Not the light hearted read that one usually associates with Ms Macomber. Have the kleenex nearby.

Thank you to the publisher, author, and NetGalley for the opportunity to preview the book.

This was a very sad story and it was pieced together in a weird kind of way. It was not what I was expecting - which is fine - but it also diid not have clarity in the character development. It was not my favorite.

Thank you to NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book for an honest review. This book is set in a small seaside town in Washington. Two sisters Willa (love the name) and Harper. Both sisters are close, share and apartment and have the bond of losing their mother when they were children and Willa taking on the role as Mom. Willa runs a coffee shop and one of her "cute" customers is Sean, a photographer who used to be a major baseball player. Harper who is beautiful, fun and easy going has had leukemia and after an attempt to climb Mount Rainier, things change quickly for the sisters. This book is more than just a couple meeting and falling in love, there is dog that needs rescuing, a cat that is adopted, a wedding, insomnia, a alcoholic, so many characters that made this book complete. This book made me laugh and made me cry.....however the bench, that did it for me. Great book!
