I liked this but didn't love it, it's about a 3.5 for me. I was intrigued by the story but something kept me from being fully sucked in.

I liked the characters, they were all different from each other. There were many hidden agendas and lies, I was waiting for everything to start unraveling. The writing is good.

it was too much going on there wich made it hard to find any of the characters interesting. I ended up being bored.

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for providing me a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I gave this book 5 stars. WOW!! I was not sure what to expect once I got started in this book. It was great. There were parts that held unexpected humor which made the suspenseful parts even better. This book has four characters that are different in every way except one. They are all looking for the something similar. They are looking for who they are as well as for that love that is very real. This isn’t a book for those who want just happy stories. This book goes deep. So be ready for ups and downs. But it is well worth the ride.

I would definitely recommend this book to be read by all.

Strap on your seatbelt and get ready for a ride. Careful What You Click For by Mary B. Morrison is an all-consuming fire.

Kingston Royale, Victoria Fox, Chancelor Leonard and Jordan Jackson are friends and fellow ushers at Hope for All Church in Atlanta, Georgia. They’re all successful in their professional lives. It’s their personal lives that need resurrecting. They’re all on a quest. Looking for love, in mostly the wrong places.

Mary B. Morrison is living up to her hype. Careful What You Click For is way beyond good. It’s a drama-filled tale of deceit, betrayal, love, hate and revenge. The story is told through the alternating viewpoints of four friends and church ushers, Kingston, Chancelor, Jordan and Victoria and the wife of one, Monet. Multiple viewpoints can get confusing, but the author handles this easily with appropriate chapter headers and vivid dialogue. Morrison’s characters are vibrant and interesting. Kingston is the character you love to hate. Victoria is the consummate schemer. Chancelor is the dubious lover. Jordan is too smart for her own good. Monet is the innocent dupe. I compliment the author for weaving a wonderfully complex plot without leaving the reader totally lost. The plot twists are breath-stealing. The ending still has my jaw dropped. I rate this novel 5 out of 5 stars and recommend it readers who enjoy multicultural fiction. The explicit content may be offensive to some readers, but this is still a must-read.

My thanks to Kensington Books and NetGalley for the opportunity to read an advance copy of this book. However, the opinions expressed in this review are 100% mine and mine alone.

First off, thank you to Net Galley for a copy of this book. I am very familiar with Morrison’s work and thought I would like this book; the cover art is great as well. Unfortunately, I have to mark it as a DNF as I did not finish it. I got almost halfway into the story and could not connect with any of the characters or follow the plot. I’m sure there’s an audience for this type of story but it was not for me.

A story of four people, all together by the fact that they're all ushers at the same church. Chancelor is a marketing guru, and good at what he does, but his naivety towards women can possibly cost him more than he can afford. Kingsoton is a former basket ball player, and appears to have the perfect life and family, but a major secret can cause an explosion that can be detrimental. Jordan is a lawyer and lucky in life, just not in love. So she tries internet dating, which has the possibility of turning deadly. Victoria loves for her man to be young and tender, until one of them decides that he will never let her go. Each person has to figure out how to reverse the issues that seem to weigh them down.

This story was a rollercoaster ride that I didn't want to get off of. It read like a movie that I would watch multiple of times. The characters were well developed and lifelike. I read in the beginning of the book that this might be the author's last book. I truly hope not. She is a master of drama filled books that will keep you on the edge of your seats right up until the very end. I truly enjoyed this book.

I received a copy of this book via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Careful What You Click For is about four different people that met in church and served on the usher board together, that quickly formed a tight bond and everlasting friendship. Each one is looking for love and happiness and have had little success so they decide that maybe they should try a dating app and also look out for each other.

Jordan an accomplished lawyer has had her share of frogs now she is looking for a prince so when she meets Terrance she feels she has Hit the jackpot.

Victoria is an older woman but has a big sexual appetite that she feels only younger man can curve, so she is looking for a young whipper snapper to fulfill her sexual desires.

Chancellor is looking for a trophy women for a girlfriend, he has a big heart and really giving, he is definitely naive and a sucker for pretty sexy women.

Kingston an ex basketball player has the perfect life in most people eyes, he has a wife, kids ,money and fame but of course that is not enough the love he is looking for will turn out to be very dangerous.

Reading the lives of these four made me very thankful for what I have and opened my eyes to issues that are going on in the world that I may have not even thought was happening if I had not read this book. This book gripped from the beginning and held me to the end, there was some shocking and oh my goodness parts. The book flowed very well and I enjoyed it to the fullest. This author did not disappoint at all.

I've read several books by this author. The one was alright but not as good as some of her other books. Took much jumping around between characters, kinda hard to keep track and remember who was who.

Mary B. Morrison does it again! Four very different friends are looking for love…in all the wrong places. Jordan, Victoria, Kingston and Chancelor are all successful in their chosen endeavors. Unfortunately, that success does not carry over to their love lives. So what do they do? They decide to try online dating. With guidelines in place, they step off that cliff into the unknown. And that is where the ‘fun’ really begins. There are secrets galore, lies, and truths that masquerade as lies. In the end, what price will these four pay for love? This was a great read that you will definitely enjoy. Thank you to NetGalley, the author and publisher for the opportunity to review this book.

Oh the perils of on-line dating! Chancellor, Victoria, Jordan and Kingston are all successful but each has a reason they haven't found true love in person. They all have an issue too. This one packs a warning for those who venture into the on line world without friends to give things a second look. There are ups and downs and revelations. Much drama! Thanks to netgalley for the ARC. Morrison's fans know what to expect with her well done characters. New readers will find that not only are the characters relatable, they also have a sense of humor, which is always welcome.

Riveting! This was a great book! There was humor. There was suspense. The four main characters were all very different, yet they were all searching for the same thing--real love and themselves. Mary B. Morrison managed to weave a tale with so many connections and secrets. Given how the story ended, I know there has to be a sequel! Readers will want to know more about the relationship antics of all of the characters.

Gritty…raw…explicit…poignant...

Chancelor, Jordan, Kingston, and Victoria are searching for something - love, companionship, sexual satisfaction, or revenge - and decide to let dating apps assist them.
They each received something, though not always what they were looking for.

In Honey B's typical fashion, this book is loaded with sex, voodoo, a tantalizing web of lies, and epic man-on-man violence.

This is not for the faint of heart, or those who 'clutch their pearls' at the hint of illicit sexual behavior and sexual deviance. Honey B deliver this tale straight with no hint of a chaser!

This was a good read. Story of 4 friends each with different motives. Chancellor falls for the wrong woman and is gullible. Victoria is well, just Victoria. Jordan has issues and Kingston well, smh. The other characters in the book have their own things going on. This was an ok read. At times it felt rushed, but it did have me thinking there could be a 2nd part. Things were explained at the end but, it felt a little rushed. Thanks to Netgalley, the author and the publisher for the arc of this book in return for my honest review. Receiving the book in this manner had no bearing on this review.
