Once again Helena has managed to do what she does best and created a masterpiece, a man you can’t help but fall for and a heroine you instantly love.

A Secret for a Secret is the third book in the All In series and can be read as a stand-alone but I’d recommend reading them in order to get the backstory of other character in the book.

When we were first introduced to Kingston I was intrigued. He’s kind of like Darren (from the Pucked series) in ways, he keeps himself to himself. He’s super quiet and at times quite nervous. King is loving and kind and fierce at times when it comes to those he loves. It’s been quite enjoyable reading this book and unraveling the parcel that is Kingston.

Queenie, oh this woman has been through a lot. She has mommy issues and doesn’t feel like she’s good at anything and it truly hurts to see her feel like that. We get to see just how talented this woman is throughout the book. She’s determined to be independent and not rely on anyone. She’s an intriguing character and I just love her so much.

These two together are polar opposites. He’s neat, likes everything in place and she’s not. She’s a storm, a chaotic storm and leaves everything, everywhere. But put those two together and they work. It’s so much fun to see.

Helena truly delivered on this one. King and Queenie are two characters that have embedded themselves on my heart and I’ll never forget them. They’re perfectly imperfect and it suits them so well.

I’ve been a fan of Helena’s for so long and she never ever fails to bring us a book that’ll hook us in and keep us addicted. I truly can’t wait to see what comes from her in the future.

A Secret for a Secret is a forbidden, sports romance that’s super sexy and adorable all mixed together. It’s fun, emotional and filled with flirty moments. It’s a book that you won’t want to put down until you hit the last page.

If you want sports, romance and steam you must read this book. I did not read the first two books in the series and for the most part I didn't think I was missing out on too much in this stand alone story. Helena created some amazing chemistry between the two characters and I read this one in one afternoon. I plan to go back and read the other books in this series as well as the Pucked series. One of my new favorite romance writers!

Melt-your-Kindle hot and a great romantic story. Loved this one!

Many thanks to NetGalley, the publisher, and the author for my ARC. All opinions are my own.

KINGSTON and Queenie are quite charming, and their story was very low angst, but I loved the theme behind the story, finding the calm to your chaos.

Kingston is exactly the man we have met throughout the series - calm, good, understanding. We see this more than ever in the book. He is the anchor for his friends and Queenie.

Queenie is the younger of the two characters, and she is a bit lost, running from her problems - all characteristics of young people who have some external issues. I loved her energy and her overall goodness.

The overall plot was great. There were elements with the mom I felt could have been amped up to help make Queenie’s issues more authentic. I loved the concept that King and Queenie are made for each other, their differences balancing each other out. There is a romantic ideology behind it that I loved. While there was a conflict, it did feel a bit even for me, a study run throughout for them.

I did really enjoy seeing everyone. I have come to really enjoy this new crew, getting to see Alex and Violet, and enjoying Helena’s writing. As always, I excited to see what else is in store from one of my favorite romcom writers.

I adored Ryan and Queenie.

They were fun, and in the way of all of Helena Hunting's books the things that happened to them, and to him, were both charming and hilarious. I mean, he had a one night stand...with the GM's daughter. In this author's hands, you know that is going to be awkward, and you are going to feel that...and their attraction to one another.

I also loved how sweet Ryan is. How much of a rule follower he is, and how much he genuinely wants to do the right thing...at all times. Queenie is the exact opposite of this, and it not only makes for a fun read, it makes them absolutely perfect for one another.

Did I mention the sex is steamy and as hot as you want it to be? That matters in a romance, and it's clear from all facets of this title that this is a couple who are 100% meant to be together.

I enjoyed and recommend this title.

Loved King and Queenie, 2 totally different people who complimented each other and made an absolutely amazing couple. My favorite couple of the series, loved them and this book. A must read!!

She's storm and chaos... He's sun and peace.
When opposites attract they make rainbow and... love.
A Secret for a Secret is the sweet love story between King, the hockey player and Queenie his general manager's daughter.
It's a forbidden relationship but Helena Hunting didn't make them the new Romeo and Juliet, there's nothing dramatic with Queenie's father and i really loved his reaction, the way he discovers what's between his daughter and King and the way he handles it. He really is an amazing father.
Queenie has self esteem issues because of cruel people, they make her doubt on her own value and she is a little lost, making bad decisions sometimes. She's strong and she tries to play the tough girl but deep inside she hurts and i hurt for her.
Kingston is the perfect boyfriend, perfect man, perfect son, perfect brother, perfect everything! When he met Queenie he was dealing with his own mummy issues but he dealt with it like a champ... maybe a little too fast but that's who he is. Understanding, patient, caring... perfect.
Queenie is chaos where King is calm but never they try to change each other, they respect and love their differencies. King brings peace and support to Queenie, she inspires him to be more himself, more passionate and free and young.
I especially loved Queenie's relationship with Violet and Alex' twins. Lavender is sooooo cute!!!!

My advice : even if it's a standalone (really) you should read the whole series because... why not it's so good!!! AND please read Pucked if you haven't yet.

I really love Helena Hunting and this book was just as great as her backlist! This spinoff series is delightful and I really adore how she’s evolved the Pucked world.

King was completely adorable! I loved how he interacted with Queenie and how their relationship evolved. I really enjoyed that he was more straight laced and Queenie was a little wild. Great meet-cute and start of the book. I thought the twist of him finding out his sister was actually his biological mom was really interesting. Queenie’s “secret” that comes out later in the book stressed me out a bit! It all ended up good in the end but there were a few moments I did not love.

Per usual there were so many moments that made me laugh, HH is the queen of rom-coms! I loved seeing all the previous characters and reading this made me so excited for Lavender’s future book and Kiss My Cupcake.

Overall this was a 4.5 star read for me! (Upgraded to 5 for Goodreads and Netgalley)

OMG King is just everything that makes a hottie a freaking hottie. Rule follower who loves his family and wants the best for everyone. He is the choir boy of the hockey team and is liked by all. Pair him with Queenie the chaos that surrounds her life is the opposite of King. What should have been a one night stand turns into a relationship that takes polar opposites and makes it work. The strawberry scene hilarious! Loved seeing past couples of the All In series along with Violet and Alex. Damn I love this series so hard!!

I received this free copy through Netgalley for my honest review.

I loved this book! It’s a hockey romance novel. This was a sweet and funny book!! I was sad when it ended.

Ryan Kingston aka King and Queenie Masterson had a one night stand weeks ago. She ended up as his generals managers daughter and assistant. She promised her dad to a strict no dating policy to the hockey players. So they started off as friends that lead to more. I love the fact the fact they were polar opposites. He was a former Boy Scout who drove like grandma and she was a whirlwind of energy. She was also struggling to get her life together. He was the balm she needed. As a couple they worked well together. The epilogue was wonderful. This is definitely a must read!!

Secret For A Secret is book #3 in the All In Series. I loved and enjoyed this entertaining, fun, and captivating read, that'll get you hooked right from the start, and keep you turning the pages unstoppable.

Author Helena Hunting delivers another fabulous, great addition to this addictive series of standalones, and the fact that we get to revisit characters from previous books makes it even better, because they're part of this amazing world she has created, and they complement the story!

Ryan Kingston is the picture perfect of the man any parent will want for their daughters. He's successful, respectful, responsible, polite, protective, caring, and sweet. However, what people doesn't know is that in private he goes down and dirty, and that's exactly what happens after receiving some devastating news and heading to a bar while getting drunk in the process.

Enter Queenie, she's everything he's not: reckless, impulsive, and chaotic. While reading she seems to me as a go get it, a free-spirited woman that takes life by the reins and don't aim to please anybody but herself, making mistakes along the way, and trying to find her place.

After meeting at the bar, getting drunk, and trading secrets, they ended up at Ryan's place having a memorable one-night stand, but what they don't know is that their path will cross again, since life has a way of turning things around when we least expect it.

Sorry, that's all you get from me, because I'll hate spoiling for you. Just go, and one-clicked this fabulous read, you know you want to.

Never were two people so suited for each other that it's hard to remember that these are fictional characters the way the reader may find themselves, like I did, rooting for them. Fiercely. A lot going on that almost distracts from the core message but overall worth the read.

Thank you Netgalley for my arc!!!

This story was very very cute!!! Not gonna lie, before starting it I wasn’t sure whether or not I’d like this one based off the synopsis. But I completely changed my mind once I got into this story! It was a wonderful opposites attract story with super sweet characters! Loved it!

I forget how incredibly fun are the books written by Helena Hunting! I was dying to read King’s book because he’s such a goody-two shoes, a stickler for rules and procedures. I was looking forward to see him lose his mind over a woman and I got my wish and more! Queenie was everything I wanted and more!

One night Ryan Kingston (King to his teammates) is at a bar getting drunk. He has mommy issues, as he just found out that his sister is really his mom. Seated next to him is Queenie, also with issues. Hers is the continued dependency she has on her dad.

“He was only twenty when I was born, and he ended up having to raise me on his own. So lots of trial and error in the whole how to deal with raising a kid alone, you know? And I’m really good at messing things up, and he’s really good at bailing me out every single time, so I’ve perpetuated that dependency, and he sort of inadvertently feeds it.”

They get drunk and have a one-night stand. Queenie leaves before King gets up and doesn’t leave any information, making King obsess over her for weeks. She was perfect and he wanted more!

At the start of the NHL season, they attend a meeting and lo and behold, Queenie is there, with her father, the manager of their NHL team!!! Talk about forbidden! King tries hard to adhere to the rule that Queenie is off-limits to the players. This part was hilarious because he behaved a little like a bumbling idiot, blushing and playing like crap when she was observing. They decide to be just friends, close friends, and things improve, but the temptation to be more is just too strong. There’s a lot of shenanigans in this book! And we get to see proper King doing dirty sex, yum!

I loved the way this story developed. Queenie is convinced she’s a hot mess and that she drives men away with all her issues. But it turns out she’s perfect for King. A staid man who drives below the speed limit, drinks milk instead of beer, strict rule follower, he needed an impulsive and messy women to light up his fire. And in return, he was like a Xanax for Queenie, slowing down the messy speed in which she lived her life.

“I’m aware I’m a lot to handle. And while he seems pretty enamored with me, that could easily change. He’s the calm and I’m the storm.”

“I show her without words that she’s worth whatever trouble she seems to think she’s going to bring my way. I’d rather have her chaos than stay stuck in the calm, where everything is lackluster.”

Queenie had self-worth problems, thanks to her worthless mother. She was in college, about to complete a dual major in psychology and art and left it because her mother told her she was never going to amount to anything and her choice career was worthless. I can’t believe that knowing her mother’s deficiencies as a parent, she would take her word. But take it she did and she dropped out one semester before graduation.

King and Queenie (note the combination!) were perfect for each other and balanced each other. Their love story has several obstacles, coming from her issues, her father’s rules and his family’s expectations. There’s a plot twist that you just have to read to believe.

We’re taken in a lovely ride, with fun moments and other heart wrenching ones. We also get a close look at Violet and her younger kids, Lavender and River. Queenie shined while dealing with Lavender, who has extreme shyness and dependency on her twin brother. These two are such a cute twin set and it was lovely to see Alex and Violet deal with their kids with so much love and understanding.

I loved every sentence and enjoyed being with the whole bunch!

I LOVED Queenie and Kingston’s story. This is the 3rd book of the All in Series, which is a little spin off from the Pucked Series.

Queenie is trying to get back off her feet after losing her job, she moves back home and takes the job as her dad’s assistant who happens to be the General Manager for the Seattle NHL team, on her first day she comes face to face with Kingston… the guy who she hooked up with a few weeks ago – turns out that he’s the goalkeeper for dads team.

This story is super sweet, I liked how genuine Kingston was, he was really understanding and supportive to Queenie which was lovely, not too much macho man stuff going on he was the right amount of protective without being overbearing. Queenie has made a few mistakes and is trying to figure out her life, outside influences have done a number on her self esteem and she pretty much feels like she’s a failure at everything.

I think part of the reason these two worked so well was that they really picked each other up when the other was down. King made her see that she is worthy and can do whatever she puts her mind too.

A highlight of this book is, of course, seeing how all the old characters are from the Pucked series, mainly Violet and Alex, it’s always a treat when these two pop up.

Loved loved loved this book. I always find that Helena's writing immediately draws me in. Her stories are sweet, charming and incredibly sexy. I adored Queenie and King's story so much. Definitely a great ending to this series!

I love love love King and Queenie! They are the definition of opposites attract. This story was nothing short of swoon worthy with an equal balance of romance and angst with a bit of comedy thrown in.

Kingston is the ever responsible boy scout like good guy. Queenie is a little bit of chaos with a good heart but has lost her way a bit. Helena Hunting has a way of sucking me into her books and I become so invested in the stories I can't stop reading until the end. Now I'm currently praying to all the Gods that there are more books to come in this series because 3 isn't enough.

4.5 stars for A Secret for A Secret

The King has met his Queen and I’ll tell you, this is my FAVORITE book from the series! Helena Hunting has given us yet another heartwarming, hilarious, and emotional story about finding love with someone who is the calm to your chaos.

Kingston and Queenie could not be more opposite from each other but they both stole my heart. Their relationship was full of surprises, laughs, and moments that just made me swoon. I love how sassy Queenie was, yet how she doubted herself. King is the epitome of the perfect gentlemen, yet a beast during sexy time ;)

I love the relationships that King and Queenie have with their families and their friends. All of the secondary characters brought so much to the table and I truly loved seeing some old favorites! I highly recommend the entire series!

Thank you NetGalley and ofcourse Montlake for this ARC.

I was waiting for this story and I have to say that I loved it. Sports romance is one of my favorite tropes and this series is one of my favorite too. I loved it. Ryan and Queenie slayed it with their chemistry and banter. The story was catchy and the it was a pure delight from the very beginning to the end.

I read and enjoyed Queenie and Kingston's story. Kingston is a delectable cinnamon roll hero that is the perfect match for hurricane Queenie. A polite dirty talker? Sign me up! Kingston needs to learn how to let loose and Queenie is the woman for the job! Together they're a perfect match in hockey heaven. And dreamy Jake...*sigh*

I absolutely adored seeing characters from the Pucked universe. This book is like visiting on the porch with your long lost friends and drinking lemonade. Refreshing with a dash of nostalgia. A solid five star reads for new and old Pucked fans!
