A very dynamic story about an FBI agent and a beautiful and smart thief. I have not read the previous books in this series but this one can be read separately. Samantha Keith is a new author for me and I really enjoyed it. I will definitely continue to follow her work and this book receives 4 stars. Thank you for this opportunity, you made my day more beautiful in these stressful times.

This is the 3rd book in the authors series but can easily be read as a stand-alone novel. It is a fast paced enjoyable story from the start. The characters, are well written even if very unbelievable and the story races along from the 1st chapter. You just have to suspend your doubts that no way would this really happen and just enjoy the ride.

I think Straight Shooter, might be my favorite of this series. Probably because I'm so happy to see that everyone finally gets their happy ever after.
Rhett is fantastic. He's seems so genuine. Priss might be a thief but she has a conscience. I just might reread this series again.

Peyton is a thief and has been hired to steal information from a senator. She sneaks on board his yacht but before she can get the letter, she’s caught. Rhett is a FBI agent and undercover as a bodyguard for the senator. When Rhett finds some of the other guards are about to rape her, he steps in. He is then instructed to find out who hired her and what she was supposed to steal but can’t do it. He must get her off the yacht and keep from blowing his cover. Rhett gets the rescue raft and get her off the ship and has to go with her when some of the bodyguards find him helping her escape. They get back to mainland but the other bodyguards have found out who she is and come after her. They end up working together to figure out why they are after her and who hired her. Can Peyton give up her criminal ways and find her happily ever after or will she keep going on her current path?
This is the third book in this series and by far my favorite. Plenty of action, sex, and suspense. A page turning, edge of your seat story. It’ll keep you guessing until the end.

This was the first book I read from the author and it was nonstop excitement. Peyton is a thief who was helping her friend steal something from a corrupt senator. She gets caught and the undercover FBI agent, Rhett, has to blow his cover to protect her. But it doesn’t end because the bad guys always seem one step ahead. How do they stop the bad guys from killing Peyton?

There are some really seriously disturbing parts (fair warning, I’m more of a rom com kind of girl so maybe my barometer for disturbing is low!) but this is a fast, interesting read. My only wish was that Peyton wasn’t always needing to be rescued- she does a bit of fighting of course but she always seemed to be in trouble. Overall, however, this was very enjoyable. Thanks to NetGalley for the early read!

Wow!! What a book!! This book kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time! It was very suspenseful, it was 🔥🔥🔥, it had heartbreak and heartache, this book he it all! I definitely recommend reading this one! Thank you NetGalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me!
