This was a really engaging and original story. It had an interesting premise - why would a one off sex tape reappear online, twelve years after it was recorded, and be sent to many people that you know?
This story flipped from the voice of the main character, Scarlett, to an anonymous character, who had quite an obvious vendetta against her. This made for a perfect structure which helped to build some empathy for the main character, alongside some dislike for her if anything the anonymous character said was true.
I was totally torn between feeling very sorry for Scarlett, who like me was a mum in her 30s, had made mistakes, owned up to them, and tried to build her life and feeling angry at the way she tried to cover up her true feelings by being another one of those prolific bloggers who make average people with normal good and bad days feel inadequate or envious.
I still hadn't made a decision on this by the end, but what I did know is that she didn't deserve what happened to her, and I admired her tenacity and resilience at the end.
This is quite refreshingly literary for a thriller and I enjoyed the imagery and descriptions, though they were quite dark at times! I would definitely recommend this book if you're looking for a unique spin on a revenge thriller.

First book I have read by this author, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Well written and gripping, couldnt put it down! I would highly recommend this.

I definitely enjoyed this book but will say the main character was pretty awful— the sad thing is that she was described exactly how “influencers” are in this day and age… and people still follow and obsess over them. I didn’t see all of the ending, and am glad for the twists and turns!

Fantastic thrilled fast paced I enjoyed it so much this book kept me guessing from start too finish this is worth a read

Moving house, maternity leave and a new baby changes everything. The need to find new friends who can relate is important. Friendships build fast but what do you actually know about those friends
Scarlett has a past that she does not want to be part of her future. Suddenly the two parts of her life come dangerously close together m
Who could be doing this to her. Who could dislike her this much
Fantastic read - the characters slowly let you into their lives. A book is always good when it leaves you wanting more

At the beginning you see the story from one perspective but then things start to change as more is revealed about her life, her choices, and how these have been viewed by others.
There's a twist to the story and i was gripped right to the end. Saying that- some events do seem far fetched.

From beginning to end, this was a page turner. Had me up half the night! Loved the characters. Highly recommend. I will be looking for more from Caroline Corcoran.

Really enjoyed Caroline’s first book so was looking forward to reading this one! Second books can be hard as they need to live up to the hype of the first, but this one worked just as well. I loved the ‘mummy’ concept being a mother of 3 myself and the revealing of the video was a great way to change that stereotypical ‘mummy’ books around.
The characters in this books were brilliant and you really didn’t know who to believe or trust. Loved the way it was written from the two perspectives - the main character Scarlett and the anonymous poster!
One that keeps you turning the pages and wanting to find out what one earth is going on!!

What a nail biting read full of an array of characters! Perhaps not a read for a new mum but an excitingly terrifying one nonetheless.

I am sorry for the inconvenience but I don’t have the time to read this anymore and have lost interest in the concept. I believe that it would benefit your book more if I did not skim your book and write a rushed review. Again, I am sorry for the inconvenience.

A gripping read that keeps you guessing about the perpetrator. I read it in one evening and am looking forward to reading more from the author.

The cover grabbed my attention and the story delivered. This is a solid twisty domestic thriller and if you enjoy the genre you won't be disappointed.

As I'm childfree, I'm always fascinated by books about motherhood - especially thrillers - because they just make me think how right I am of not wanting to have kids. They're just trouble, not to mention that this way I don't have to deal with horrible momzillas.
I think the conflict of this novel is a bit muddled, but I have to admit that I couldn't guess who the bad guy was until the very end.

This was a great book which I flew through and kept me guessing. At the end it was twist after twist - I thought I knew what was coming but I definitely didn't!

I did love this book. I remember my early days as a mother and I struggled so I had a lot of sympathy for Scarlett. The detail was great and really is what made the book a page turner. Yes, it brings back memories of those playgroups and friendship that are transitory because the only thing you have in common is a baby.
The idea that you needed to find out who had done it before reporting to the police was a bit unreal but was a key part of the story. By the time I got to the end I was fairly sure I knew what was going to happen but that didn’t matter.
I will read more of her books if I get the chance.

I flew through this book, with a well-thought-out plot and really believable characters. would definitely recommend it!

This is a good book that keeps you guessing! I was a little unsure at the beginning as it was a slow start, but got steady better.

This book really kept me guessing the whole way through. Although I didn’t really connect with the main character I really enjoyed trying to figure out everything. It was a real page turner and one that I am sure a lot of people would love

This domestic thriller was fast-paced and well-written. Easy to follow, relatable in a sense of today's online world and sharing what is questionable. Also made me think of past situations and how handling them could be displayed to harm a person. This book was a bit of a mindf*#k for me, but kept me intrigued to know who was behind the video leak. Well done Caroline! Looking forward to reading more of your novels!
A huge thank you to NetGalley, Caroline Corcoran and Avon for providing me with an ecopy of this publication which allows me to provide you with an unbiased review.

I enjoyed this book! It kept me enthralled and kept me guessing for a solid while! If you're looking to be entertained this is the right book for you
