Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC of this title!

First, how lovely is this cover art?

I was very excited to read this novel after loving Five Feet Apart. Overall, All This Time follows the same formula with tragedy, romance, and young adult self-discovery. I was a little sad that this novel didn't vary from the typical YA formula, but nonetheless I really enjoyed the story. I can see this being a big hit for teenage readers. Overall, it was a quick, easy, enjoyable read but a little predictable.

I will definitely add this title to my classroom library as I an see many of my students enjoying it.

I was so excited to read another book by these authors, and it did NOT disappoint! I was immediately sucked into Kyle’s story, and enjoyed each and every twist and turn that the authors included.

This book was good. Thank you for offering it through NetGalley. I believe Five feet apart was better, but this will be a must have in the library for sure. I love the idea of it, but I felt like it dragged on a bit much in the middle. I even got a little frustrated with not understanding the direction the book was going. But, once I realized what was happening it was a neat concept.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and cannot wait to recommend it to my junior high readers. They will latch onto the honesty of the characters - which were so well-crafted. Their honesty and voice and actions were relatable and real. Teens love these kinds of stories and this one is sure to keep them engaged.

I received an ARC of this book through NetGalley from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

I mean... wow. I wanted to read this because I enjoyed their previous novel, but I didn't know exactly what to expect or what I was getting myself into, but this was a powerful read.

Let me tell you, the writing in this book was amazing, it kept me on my toes nearly the entire time and I wasn't disappointed. From start to finish I was sucked into the story, and that's not always the case for me with contemporary. The twists in this book weren't what I was expecting and I was pleasantly surprised.

I adored the main characters, Kyle and Marley, so much. Each of them was messed up in their own ways from the past trauma in their lives, and watching them grow was such a pleasure.

A word of warning, this book made me CRY. And I mean I cried for a solid half hour because of it, and contemporary very rarely hits me like that. This is such an amazing, emotional book and I truly felt connected to the characters and their stories.

I can't recommend this book highly enough if you were a fan of their previous work, or just want to read a super fulfilling contemporary.

I received a complimentary copy of All This Time from NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.
I LOVED this novel! I am completely of the mind that wishful thoughts should really come true. This book is exactly that. A boy falls in love in the deep sleep of a coma, to wake and search for the object of his affection. What a great love story!
Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC.

After collaborating on the hit YA novel/movie Five Feet Apart, Rachael Lippincott and Mikki Daughtery are back with another young adult story. Kyle and Kimberly were the perfect high school sweethearts. Until graduation night when Kyle's world is completely upended. Just as Kimberly breaks up with him, they get into a car crash and she is killed. Kyle feels completely lost until he meets Marley, a girl grieving her own loss.

Although not as good as Five Feet Apart, All This Time was still an enjoyable contemporary young adult read. Watching Kyle process through his grief and understanding Kim's need to find herself away from her relationship with Kyle were both great themes for teens to read. Inconsistencies in Marley's character that nagged me throughout the book were cleverly explained with the story's twist. Yet the twist veered the story in a direction I didn't particularly love, crafting a completely unrealistic fairy-tale ending.

All This Time by Mikki Daughtry and Rachael Lippincott put me on an emotional rollercoaster. In the beginning, I was not very pulled in. It was a tragic story of a car accident. However, it seemed to lack deep emotion. Kyle grew through the book and I was impressed with his ability to learn about himself and what he needed. However, there is a huge twist. The twist confused me greatly. Kyle's world seemed to turn upside down and what he thought was reality wasn't. He wouldn't let it go. What surprised me was Kyle's love for something that wasn't real. This story is all around tragic. However, I felt that it lacked depth in the characters that it needed for a real connection to the horrible events that happen to every character in the book. The ending got confusing and I couldn't figure out which reality the characters were in. All in all, I understand the depth the authors wanted, and I appreciated the relationships and teaching of love and growth from Kyle. But, I felt that this book was on the thin line between realistic and not. I would have rathered it been full-on fantasy then try to pull off as realistic fiction.

After experiencing a freak accident with his recently-ex girlfriend, Kyle wakes up in the hospital to find out Kim has died and life will never be the same. When he meets a mysterious girl at the gravesite, he slowly allows himself to open up to love again, which begins to change the trajectory of his life. But, as often happens when life seems too good to be true, not all is as it seems. As Kyle begins to reconcile dreams with reality, he has to decide who he is and what he’s willing to fight for. This book is emotional and spellbinding, drawing the reader in to Kyle’s desires for a happy life despite loss. Readers will learn the power of letting go of the past and forgiving oneself. The twist is unexpected and original, even if some parts require a bit of suspension of disbelief to work. Overall, this is an interesting story young adults would enjoy if they are looking for a book with a theme of “fantastical” love but also learning to deal with loss.

I liked parts of this book and I didn't guess the big twist (although I definitely knew something was up). The twist comes about 60% into the book and from there is gets even more far fetched. I'm not a big fan of the last 40% of the book as it just stretched my disbelief a bit too far. I do think teens who liked Five Feet Apart and other depressing books like it will eat this up.

This YA romance is heavy on the fairy tale. I will recommend this to my high school readers who like to suspend beliefs and enjoy plot twists. This book did not engage me in the same way as Five Feet Apart.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the chance to read this arc in exchange for an honest review.

All This Time is a modern day fairy tale with a "happily ever after" ending. The story of Marley and Kyle is one of hope and believing in the prospect of true love despite the challenges, sadness, and grief every day life can bring. Kyle spends the majority of the story in the hospital recovering from an accident. There are parts of the story that exist between asleep and awake, and these parts are where we see dreams become reality. A beautiful story of hope with a modern day storyline. A special Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

If you are a compassionate and empathetic human being with a love for the feels that a great read can offer you, then this story will punch your ticket. Kyle, Kimberly, and Sam are preparing for college but these three best friends don't really understand what moving into the college years means for them. Hidden feelings, resentments, and catastrophe have a lot to teach these young adults and those who come close to them. Love and loss, happiness and heartache, and learning where to go next is the lesson learned. Open your heart and your mind for a lesson we all need to be reminded of sometimes.

I was given advanced access to All This Time by Mikki Daughtry and Rachael Lippincott from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

Although fairy tales are not a genre I typically read, this story hooked me immediately! The high school relationship breakup saga was spot on and I felt like I was back in school overhearing a student retelling their weekend drama. The characters and their emotions were typical of teens and the added drama of the car accident provided a fitting amount of teen angst.

The unpredictable turn of events that would not happen in a real world, add an element of surprise that does not seem absurd or out of character for the story. The plot twist highlights and develops the theme that love wins and friendship and loyalty persevere.

All This Time by Mikki Daughtry and Rachael Lippincott will be a welcomed edition to my classroom library.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for allowing an advance read of this title in exchange for an honest review.

In today's world, this kind of story is realistic.
Boy loves girl.
Best friend loves girl (but doesn't let anyone know).
Girl breaks up with boy and his world is shattered. Literally.
BUT there's more!

The rest is interesting, but not exactly easy to follow.

I was given advanced access to this book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review. Although I enjoyed Five Feet Apart by these same authors, I think I liked this story even more. It is an emotional rollercoaster with a couple of twists that teens will love! I would recommend it for high school as there is a little bit of language with the f-bomb dropped a few times and the topic is heavy as it involves the death of a teen.

Oh, brain injuries are tough to comprehend, especially when you’re on the inside looking out. A heartwarming story of love, loss, recreating yourself, and growing up with the help of those around you. The story is unique and heart wrenching and joyfully hopeful, and it has stuck with me long after putting it down. Well done.

The cover is beautiful! I really liked this book and the format was intriguing. By the end of the book I felt like I knew the main character really well. It was a little too “out there” for me but I picked it up and couldn’t put it down because I needed to see how it would all pan out.

This book was an interesting twist on the happily-ever-after fairy tale. When his girlfriend dies in a car crash immediately after telling him that she won't be following him to college, Kyle is forced to re-evaluate their relationship and his relationship with their mutual best friend. When he meets shy girl Marley (herself grieving a lost loved one) they help one another reenter the world and open themselves up to new relationships.
Some readers may think they have guessed Marley's secret, but like life, the truth is more complicated.
