I followed Angela on youtube for a while and waited for this book to come out for a long time, even pre-ordered the book.
It didn't disappoint, filled with raw and honest moments on her beautiful path to motherhood, it gave a true inside about her life and her struggles. The love pours out of it even in the darkest times was inspiring. She shows us that devotion and love can make mountains move.
I loved every minute of it.
Angela Braniff has been a name in our house for years! I was so thrilled to hear that she was writing a book and it didn’t disappoint.
Love Without Borders was such a ride. I’m not a crier by any means but I stood blubbering over the stove while listening to the beautiful story of the Braniff family. Angela and CR have clearly given their all to help their children thrive in every way and this story solidifies that “call” I’ve heard to adopt.
The raw and real stories are not what you might think a “YouTuber” would have experienced but it warmed my heart to see how far Angela has pushed herself to get her babies home.
This is a true piece of art. Thank Angie for sharing your story with us, it touched my heart in ways you will never know. I read it all in less than 12 hours and had goosebumps the whole time. If you are unsure of your path in life, of family, of God or just of goodness this book will soothe all your worries. The story of Angie and her family has given me peace and motivation to move forward in my life trusting myself and God. Thank you to the whole Braniff family for sharing your lives with us and inspiring us all.
Angela’s story is heartfelt and full of hope. This book renewed my soul and was the reminder I needed to wait patiently because God’s timing is perfect!
"Love Without Borders" is based on the journey that Angela Braniff and her husband have taken to create their family. With honesty and transparency, Braniff shares the struggles she's gone through to have biological children. The chapters I most enjoyed were the ones about the children they have internationally adopted as well. This was a well-written book, and I enjoyed it.
Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC. All opinions are my own.
This book is AMAZING. I loved it so much. Angela is funny and heartfelt. She is so genuine and life giving. Her words were so encouraging and it was a great read during this odd time. She points everything back to God and His truth and what He desires for our lives. I definitely recommend!!! :)
Angela shares the story of her family and her experience of her journey motherhood.
She is a warrior Mom of eight children all of whom are precious. In this book, we come to know the miraculous journey her family has taken to make this beautiful family. This is a beautifully written memoir as if you were sitting with a new friend over coffee and sharing life stories. Angela traveled the world, to bring her family home. I believe this book is for you if, you struggle with perfectionism, you one day want to become a Mother, you are praying about adoption, are a Mother with little ones underfoot.
I loved this book from start to finish, not only did it make me smile and break my heart but it gave me a new appreciation and view of the world.
I have read a great many books in my time but the way Angela tells her story made me want to reach through the book and hug her.
In this book Angela tells the story of how she, her husband and this family came to be, it's raw honesty about her struggles with infertility, adoption and finding her true self (with the help of the Lord ).
Angela tells the reader honest truths about everything she has gone through she is literally an open book.
I would highly recommend it for anyone who is thinking about adoption or going through any struggles because this book let me realise that you are never alone once you believe in you.
I loved every page in this book. I feel like Angie really poured her heart out on each page and made me feel all of the emotions she felt. I laughed and cried, but overall, would read this book again in a heartbeat.
I absolutely loved this book. I have watched This Gathered Nest for a long time but very on and off. I normally just catch a video when it comes up on my recommended page. I have always been interested in adoption since I was a young girl. I knew the injustices of the world should never mean that a child should get left behind or that a child should ever feel unloved or wanted. Angela Braniff is an excellent example of having an open heart and open mind. She is a wonderful writer on top of being a wonderful mother, wonderful wife, and wonderful Christian. I loved that a Bible verse or quote from a religious leader started off every chapter and how all glory was given to God. I can't recommend this book enough and I look forward to purchasing a hard copy on the release date!
