This had a really neat premise and it was interesting to see insight into this setting, but I knew going into it that it felt a little worrisome that the book was only 48 pages, and I was right to be concerned. It's so short that nothing really happens, and there's so little text on each page that it makes this issue even more prominent. Altogether, I was sadly bored and ready for it to end even with how short it was.

This was a very short comic about how Serapio Ittusardjuat used traditional skills and knowledge he learned to stay alive. This is a first person account of how he spent four nights on the ice after his snowmobile broke down.

This was extremely short, but it was interesting. The artwork was good and I learned a few things about surviving in cold temperatures. I do wish that it had been longer or tought more traditional skills that are used to survive.

A short, simple story that really doesn't convey the fear or danger of being stuck out on the ice for four nights. The art work is good, but it is probably not a story that needed to be turned into a book.

This tiny graphic novel was a quick read but I really enjoyed it! Ittusardjuat is an Inuit artist and shares a piece of his life as an Indigenous person and how he was taught to survive when modern equipment fails. A nice little read if you're looking to support Indigenous authors!

Not much to the story. Took about 15 min to read.
