I loved this book, a love story full of twists and turns based around the music industry, all totally believable. I read it in one day.
I cannot wait to read the follow up, The Make Up Artist.
I really enjoyed this one! Kiki and Tatum were so fun. I will definitely be picking up the next book in the series!
What an easy read to fill my country-bumpkin heart with a laugh and some romance. If you're in the mood for a lighthearted, predictable romcom-type-of-book, this is the one for you.
I have to say that timing is everything for reading a book, so when picked this one up some time ago, it was just what I needed and I appreciate the time I spent engaging in such a story.
Thank you Sophie Sinclair, BooksGoSocial and NetGalley for the eARC in exchange for my honest review. Always so grateful for the opportunity to read complimentary books!
Enjoyable romance, between a country star and an ordinary woman working as an assistant to his stylist.
I enjoy it when authors write their books from both viewpints and that happens here, with most chapters from Kiki's viewpoint but some from Tatum's as well. I like how it lets you get into both their heads and see the developing relationship from both viewpoints. I enjoyed the epilogue - and the post epilogue - as well, giving a glimpse into the future and how things worked out for the different characters in the story.
There's a well drawn set of characters in this book and i liked how the story played out. None of it's particularly original, I've seen characters like the ex and the love 'rival' before, and the 'banter' with TJ - in fact TJ all together -was particularly cliched. I saw the twist with their break up coming, too. But it's nicely written, and I'll be looking for the next in the series
This book had me cringing and laughing at the same time. It was sweet, funny and sexy and I want my own Tatum Reed. He and Kiki were hilarious and had a great friendship to go along with all that hot chemistry. Can't wait to read the next one in the series.
I enjoyed this book. It was a good way to spend the evening.
I liked Kiki and Tatum. While I did find it a bit insta-lovey, it didn’t bother me too much because overall I liked the way the plot played out. I thought the pacing was good and I want to read Sarah and Lex’s story. I will be picking it up on KU in the near future.
One of the reasons I’m giving this book 3 stars instead of 4 was the beginning. It took me a bit to get into the story. However, I would say about a third to halfway through I was hooked on the story. One other reason I’m giving it three stars is that I felt like there were certain times that offhand comments would be made that would characterize Christians in poor taste. I just didn’t think it was necessary and didn’t add anything to the story. It seemed like a jab that simply wasn’t necessary.

Really enjoyed this book.
The banter between the two main characters is great and often hilarious. The characters are likeable but not predictable.
Not quite as hot and steamy as I thought it was going to be but a great easy Summer/holiday read.

Mackenzie Leigh Forbes or Kiki is a stylist at a fashion magazine called Cufflinks. She is fired from her job after their company is acquired by another one. She has two options in hand either to become a nanny to her arrogant and snobby sister or to work as an assistant to the stylist of a country-rock star Tatum Reed and she chooses the latter. The sparks ignite as the two of them get close while working together.
First of all this book was really good. I loved Kiki’s friendship with Sarah and TJ, Her sarcastic interaction with her elder sister, and how supporting her elder brother is to her. Tatum’s bond with his best friend Lex Ryan the lead guitarist in his band. Kiki and Tatum were awesome.
In all this is a very enjoyable book. I recommend this book to all the fans of contemporary romance. There are great characters, lovely story, vamps, and drama. I liked the writing style. Thank you @netgalley for the digital copy.
So cheesy but I bloody loved it! I think I spent the majority of the time with a big fat grin on my face! Such a lovely feel good book! Beautifully written! Pulled at my heartstrings throughout! I loved their relationship! Will read again as I know it will make me smile each time!

Thank you @brittvan1 for this amazing rec! 💗
This book was great, everything I look for in a RomCom.
The female lead was not a wimpy Cinderella, thank god, and a bit of a mess to be honest. This is a positive though as it made her more relatable.
Before opening the book I presumed the male lead was going to be an arsehole, but surprisingly this is an actual decent guy, not someone who is only nice to the girl and an arse to everyone else, but someone who is nice.
The story flows with ease, and although the climax felt a little rushed this is definitely something I'll re-read.

This was a super cute country popstar romance. This story follows Kiki (Mackenzie) who is in need of a job. Her sister tries to help her by telling her she can be a nanny for her but that is the last thing Kiki wants to do. With the help of her brother she lands a job working for the fashion designer of a country music singer named Tatum Reed. This story follows Kiki’s love story as she balances working as an assistant while also falling in love with a country star. When Tatum’s ex-girlfriend starts to cause trouble in his life, he has to decide what he wants. Does he want to continue his new relationship with Kiki or does he protect himself and his band.
I like this story; it was cute to watch Tatum and Kiki fall in love. I wished we had got more scenes with the main characters' families. It feels like they were mentioned a lot but were never really around. Kiki as a heroine was hard to relate to at times. I couldn't sympathize with her when she would react to the events that were happening. She was twenty-six years old but the way she handled situations made her sound childish and immature.
I did not care for the drama that went on with the hero’s ex-girlfriend, although I do understand that it was necessary. I did appreciate the Heroine's friendship with Sarah (the makeup artist). I probably will continue on with this series because I'm really looking forward to reading the second book. Overall, I would recommend this to someone who wants to read a cute country popstar romance.
Kiki is currently unemployed and needs to make a decision, become her sister’s nanny or move halfway across country to work as an stylist of a country music star. Life on the road leaves much to be desired until she meets her sexy new boss. Tatum’s career is flying high, but he feels like his life is about to implode, his ex-girlfriend is determined to make his life difficult, his opening act is a handful and the new girl is quickly getting under his skin.
This sweet and funny story was amazing, it was sexy, easy to read and made me laugh out loud. It’s a perfect read for these days and there’s already a second book in this series that I can’t wait to start.
Enjoyed reading this fun, sexy, sweet, cute great dialogue between characters, some tension ,emtions and of course a great romance.
Voluntarily reviewed.
I loved this book! Rockstar romances are my jam! Kiki and Tatum are great characters and I love the storyline between them. This was the first book I've read by Sophie Sinclair and I cannot wait to read the next book in the series!

This book was a cute romantic comedy. The main character is Kiki and she's great, not afraid to be vulerable, and has a great sense of humor. Tatum is the cute sexy country star.
I picked this book because of cover and the description. I was hoping that it would be different in some way, but it wasn't. I twas a quick read, but still very predictable. I was disappointed in this book.

This was great! If you like yourself a country singer then this is certainly for you! It had the right amount of drama/tension and romance, with characters I would happily read more of. Defiantly would recommend.
Thankyou to Netgalley for allowing me to read a ARC of this book in return for an honest review.
Coffee Girl is the first book in a contemporary romance series by Sophie Sinclair. Mackenzie “Kiki” Forbes finds herself in a pickle. Either become her snarky sister’s nanny, or move halfway across the country to work as assistant-to-the-stylist of a country music star. Neither job sounds ideal, although bedazzling cowboy boots may be a hell of a lot more interesting than ironing her brother-in-law’s underwear. But life on the road as the errand coffee girl for a sold-out tour leaves much to be desired. That is, until Kiki meets her sinfully sexy new boss’s boss. Tatum Reed’s career is flying high. He’s up for country music’s Entertainer of the Year and he’s headed out on a nationwide sold-out tour. So why does he feel like it’s all about to implode? His superstar ex-girlfriend seems determined to make his life difficult, his opening act is a handful, and the new girl on his tour, the feisty brunette, is quickly getting under his skin. In this crazy world of show business Tatum needs to learn who he can trust, but that doesn’t come easily, because the one person who holds all the cards may just throw them down and walk away.
Coffee Girl is a book that captured my attention pretty quickly. It started off great, Kiki and her reactions were both sweet and snarky in turn. Her situation, and reactions, were well done and relatable. I liked Tatum too. He is smart and funny, and despite talking a good game he was sweet and just as vulnerable as Kiki. I liked the set up, and how they handled it. The cast of secondary characters were very well done, and I was engaged in their well-being. I will admit that I shared some of the annoyance as the secondary characters with Kiki's self doubt. and that there were a few moments that I felt like the pacing stumbled. However, I think the characters and the crisis of the romance were very well planned- and I really liked how respect for each other and the bonds of friendship were important aspects of the story.
Coffee Girl is a solid romance that balances laughs, angst, and heat.
Coffee Girl is a deliciously steamy story set within the rhine stone studied world of country music, The characters are strong and instantly likeable. Coffee Girl is a book that sweeps you off your feet.
4 stars
This was a quick, cute, and light read. Just what I needed after all the heavy stuff I seemed to have picked up lately. I liked the main characters and the authors writing. Will definitely read the next one in the series.
