This is a well written book that will keep you turning the pages to see what the twin brothers do next. It will make you laugh out loud in spots and the author makes the book come to life with her words. This book was an absolute joy to read. I loved the entire series. This is the perfect book to grab if you want to escape from the world for a while. I can't say enough good things about this book without a spoiler slipping out. Thank you Kensington Books-Zebra for the ARC copy of this book. All opinions expressed are my own.
This is the third book in The Petersheim Brothers series and I could not wait to read it. This book did not disappoint!
Austin is the last of the older Petersheim brothers who is not married or has a fiancée, let alone a girlfriend. Younger brothers Alfie and Benji are about to change that. They come up with a plan to find Austin a girlfriend, but can't agree on who. Alfie chooses Sila while Benji chooses Austin's longtime friend, Hannah.
After some of the interactions with Sila, Alfie realizes that Hannah is the better choice and enlists the help of her cousins to get Austin and Hannah together. Will it work?
I received an ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
If you have not picked up a book yet by Jennifer Beckstrand, then you need to go get one right now! I am telling you...they are fabulous. I can't begin to count the times that I laughed out loud during her latest release, Austin. Austin is the third of the Petersheim Brothers Series books and it is great. The only reason I didn't finish it in one setting is because I had to sleep. But I still stayed up half the night reading most of it. Austin is the third Petersheim brother and his two nine year old twin brothers have been trying to get all of their older brothers married off. The twins currently sleep in the cellar because the house is so full and they plan to marry off each brother so they can have a bedroom back. What results is always funny and exciting. Hannah and Austin have been best friends since grade school. Hannah loves Austin, but she doesn't want to ruin their friendship. Austin is handsome, loves peanut butter, and is determined to expand his family business. Hannah has just the right ideas to help him. However, when he starts courting Priscilla Lambright, Hannah can't help but wish it was her. So do the twins. Find out how the twins and two of their young friends, Dinah and Ruth Ann, work to bring Hannah and Austin together.
Full of laughter, joy, grace, and cheer, Austin is sure to bring a smile to your face and warm your heart. I can't wait to read the rest of Jennifer Beckstrand's books!
I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book through the publisher and NetGalley. All opinions are my ow.n.
I adore this series it's my favorite series by Jennifer because I love the twin's, I loved Austin it is A great story. it has romance. one of the character's was something.
I hope this isn't the end. I love to read more about the twins. I received the copy from netgalley.
Another winner by Jennifer Beckstrand, Austin was a little more angsty than her other books, but in a good way. Beckstrand made me wriggle with impatience as well-raised Austin made some of the dumbest mistakes of his young adult life - nearly missing out on some of the biggest rewards! Loved the baking successes and fiascos, and the interwoven subplot of 2 cute little brothers who are lovable and troublesome - and manage to save the day more than once! Always a pleasure to read about realistic friendship struggles and Godly romantic relationships.
The Petersheim twins are still desperate to get out of the basement in this fun filled conclusion to The Petersheim Brothers' trilogy. The adorable but mischievous boys are at odds as to which girl will be the best choice for their clueless brother, Austin. But soon they will choose a winner and get some help to achieve their goal. But will that get the twins out of the basement into their own room? Readers will surprised how everything works out in this sweet, funny story. I hate to see this series end but am anxious to see what the author will write next. Highly recommended!
Austin by Jennifer Beckstrand is the third book in her Petersheim Brothers series. Austin is the third eldest of the Petersheim brothers, fondly known as the Peanut Butter Brothers, so named because of the family business.
Austin is very handsome but is also cocky and self-centered, and needs his best friend to fix things for him. His best friend, Hannah Yutzy, knows and loves Austin but is tired of being taken for granted. Can lifelong friendship turn into lifelong love?
The youngest Petersheim brothers are nine-year-old twins, Alfie and Benji, who are totally “laugh out loud” hilarious. They’ve been forced to sleep in the cellar due to a lack of bedrooms, since their grandparents have moved in. Alfie and Benji plan to get their room back by getting their older brothers to marry and move out. They’ve successfully married off their eldest brothers, Andrew and Abraham, and are now working on a plan to link Austin with his best friend, Hannah Yutzy. The twins have enlisted the help of Hannah’s young cousins, two of their female classmates, who add to the hilarity. This is going to be a tough task for the kids, but they’re determined to marry Austin off and get that bedroom back.
Austin is a quick, easy, really good read. The characters are completely developed and believable. The kids are especially entertaining. As with the previous books in the series, the writing flows smoothly, and there’s just the right amount of conflict. This is another 5 out of 5 star endeavor from Jennifer Beckstrand. I recommend this book to all readers of Amish fiction, especially Amish romance.
My thanks to Kensington Books and NetGalley for the opportunity to read an advance copy of this book. However, the opinions expressed in this review are 100% mine and mine alone.
Entertaining and well written inspirational romance. Good plot and characters. I received an arc from the publisher and this is my unbiased review.
This is the third book and we meet Austin, busy with working and keeping the little ones out of mischief, he doesn’t have time for courting a girl. His plans of making him self more productive and better suited for a marriage. Talking with Hannah is good and encouraging of what he wants to do. With matchmaking his brothers plan to help him. The girl is Hannah, and as all plans go they back fire, causing friction in families. As Austin and Hannah spend time together he sees her as a perfect wife for him. Enjoyable of these boys growing up and finding their mate. Not easy for the mayhem and mischief they cause. Given arc for my voluntary review and my honest opinion by Net Galley and Kensington
What can I say? Not enough I love this series! The characters are hilarious and fun. I read every book that comes out by this Jennifer Beckstrand because I know it will make me laugh, and we all need a good laugh! In this series we have 2 little boys who have to live in the cellar until their brothers marry. From the first page those little scoundrels will have you laughing at their cuteness and schemes.
Between work and keeping his little brothers out of trouble, Austin Petersheim barely has time to think, much less court the most popular maidel in town. But if he can establish a local market to direct-sell his family’s goods, he’ll stand out as a potential husband. He’s so grateful for the help of his longtime friend, Hannah Yutzy, who has such practical ideas—and is so easy to talk to . . .
While Austin embarks on his plan, his siblings have a plan of their own: to give Austin and Hannah a little nudge to show them they’re made for each other. When their antics wreak havoc with a rival family emporium, Hannah must help Austin set things right. And as she does just that, Austin is stunned to realize his best friend could be his perfect wife. Now he’ll just need the courage and faith to find out if she agrees . . .

Such a great book! The character development is excellent and the sweet story line, albeit at times causes frustration (because Austin really needs to just open his eyes!!) makes it worth reading! This makes me want to read the others in the series, and I plan to! I highly recommend!
First book I read in the series. This one is about Austin, obviously, the third or middle son. The book starts out with twin 9 year old brothers trying to get Austin married so they can move back to their old room and get out the smelly basement. When their grandparents moved in, they were sent down there since their older brothers got their old room. Each boy is cheering for a different girl, but silly Austin gets sidetracked by a pretty face. A fast paced and fun book. Chuckled through, and liked the antics of the little kids too. Highly recommend this book and author. Now I want to read the others too.
