I very much enjoyed this book. It was entertaining, had great characters. And as always I love seeing all the side characters in this series.
I always love a book by Lynsay and this is no different, the worlds and characters she builds are second to none and keep me coming back for more time and again with all of her series.
I loved Ildraria and GG in previous books so I was excited for this story. I enjoyed the story as I have all of the Immortals/Argeneau books however, I have felt bad in the recent stories for Vasco and Juan - is their whole family meant to deal with having possible life mates?
When I found out this book was about G.G. I was so happy cause I had wanted a book about him for a while.
While I really liked the characters and the story. I unfortunately knew what the twist in the story was before it was revealed at the end. That being said it was a pretty good read if unsurprising.
One character I really liked and wish we had got more of was Mary, G.G.’s mom. That woman knew just what buttons to push to get what she wanted!.
Thank you for the review copy. I ABSOLUTELY ADORE THIS SERIES. This is comfort read for me. This book will be feature in a future podcast episode .
I really love this series and this one was a great addition! I'm going to have to go back to read the first ones over again because there's just so many in the series!
I don’t think I’ve read far enough into this series yet to jump ahead to this book. I will come back after I read more of Lynsay Sandw backlist. DNF for now.
Lynsay Sands, Immortal Angel is another hit from this bestselling novel. I love her writing and how detailed she is with her plot and character definition. I recommend this book!
Sands strikes again with a story of a centuries long (wo)man hunt, crazy heroine, and mortal lover that has issues with a chance at forever that could really put a crimp in a girl’s chance at and HEA when she really will live forever. I have loved this series since the beginning when I stumbled across book four in a used bookstore and went back and started at the beginning, and I have been along for the ride ever since, not regretting a single moment of it. Sands has a way of taking the most boring or taboo of subject and running head first into it, allowing her characters to seem truly real to us, despite them sometimes being centuries or millennia old. Ildaria has comes to the Aegeneau’s because she has made a few mistakes since she became immortal, mainly because she refuses to let any woman become a victim when she can stop it. She fights back when she sees injustice and it has landed her in the hot seat with Lucien, but now she has a new place to lie low in the Night Club working for the much beloved mortal owner, G.G., as both accountant and dog sitter. But it soon becomes apparent he will be much more integral to her life than just as her boss because G.G. is her life mate and she has no clue what to do about it. G.G. is no stranger to immortal, with immortal parents, friends and clients, but when he meets Ildaria his heart about stops. Not only is she the answers to his professional needs, she soon becomes his personal obsession as he lusts after her to the point of insanity, until she finally shares that they are life mates and she wants him for her own. They both have a lot of issues to work through before they can embrace a physical relationship, but spending time together and building their friendship is important, until Ildaria’s past comes back to haunt her, putting them both in danger. G.G. needs to decide if he can get past his fears of becoming and immortal and give Ildaria the life mate she deserves or she may forsake him for another, despite their explosive connection and the love he feels for her. Ildaria was a badass; let’s put that right out there. Not only does she manage to kick ass again and again when she comes under attack, but she is also smart, sweet and loving, showing G.G. all the sides of her and giving him sweetness very few see. Deeply buried under all that though is a pain and trauma that she has hidden for almost two centuries, one that has driven almost every rash and deadly choice she has ever made and that has made her wary of physical relationships and any type of emotional connections, including friendships, not to mention she knows to never rely on anyone but herself. Seeing her opening her heart and mind to her new friends and of course G.G. was awesome and I loved her having so much support after so many years without it. G.G. has some big issues too, despite not wanting to admit to them, with trauma in his childhood and fears for the future he didn’t want anyone to point out to him. I loved seeing him take control of the relationship and share his expertise with women with Ildaria and prove to her that he was the perfect man for her, not to mention he had the perfect dog to share with her. Once he finally found a way to get past his hang-ups –yay G.G.’s mom, nice work—and prove to Ildaria that he truly believes in their love and a future together I knew that they would have a true HEA and be together forever. I loved this story, despite a few tears along the way and having to break once or twice to catch my breath for the heartbreak, but the heartbreak and passion counter each other beautifully and there is enough lightheartedness with side characters that the story doesn’t stay too dark for too long. I loved the passion between G.G. and Ildaria, though it was more subtle in the beginning, but that is truly what Ildaria needed as she came to terms with her future with her life mate. I am truly looking forward to the next story in the series and seeing where Marguerite works her magic next.
This was a VERY fun ride! The attraction between GG and Ildaria was SCORCHING. This was everything I was looking for in a paranormal fantasy and it was ridiculous fun!
IMMORTAL ANGEL is the thirty-first book in the Argeneau series. Though each book will stand alone in this series, I recommend reading them all.
G.G. and Ildaria remind me of the punk and goth kids of my youth – they’ll be bold and unique while trying to hide in their own shadows. G.G. with his green mohawk and Ildaria with her vigilante defense of women are just trying to get through their immortal lives without being noticed. I laugh and ask, “how’s that working out for you?”
This series is fabulous, and it never gets stale. I love the suspense story that is Ildaria’s backstory and how it must be resolved in order for them to have a future.
I look forward to more and more Argeneau vampires. The is always steamy romance, great dialogue, and terrific suspense lines.
Note: While I received this book as a gifted ARC, my opinions are my own and are given freely.

My Kindle broke and I had to factory reset it and lost all of my Net Galleys, so I wasn't able to complete my read/review of Immortal Angel.
The archive date had already passed and I wasn't able to re-download it. I'll be catching this book from my local library.
Thank You netgalley and publisher for providing this arc in exchange for an honest review.
I am going to be completely honest, It has been a while since I have read a Lynsay Sands novel.
Did I like Immortal Angel? Yes
Did I love Immortal Angel? No, I found this book to be a bit disappointing/underwhelming and did not enjoy the backstory provided,
I still love the world Sands created though and will continue with the series.
**4.5 Stars**
I freaking love the Argeneau series. It’s one of those rare paranormal series you don’t have to read in order (in my opinion). Sure, you’d probably understand more if you jumped in during one of the earlier books, but I read this whole series out of order, just picking up a book here and there depending on my interest in the synopsis, and it was a delightful way to discover this big zany family. By this point, I have read almost all of the 31 (!?!) books, and IMMORTAL ANGEL is one of my new favorites!
I hoped I would love G.G.’s book, and I did! If you don’t know, G.G. is a human who owns two nightclubs for immortals (immortals are essentially vampires). He’s huge, British, has a giant green mohawk, and tons of tattoos… and he’s a great listener. Basically, he’s SEXY! His life mate is Ildaria, a kick-butt vigilante immortal who wears all leather and is trying to get her college degree on the side.
G.G. and Ildaria are the cutest together. They’re thrown together by circumstance (and some family meddling), and watching them circle each other was super fun. Ildaria’s backstory was fascinating, and I ended up loving her even more than G.G., which I didn’t think was possible.
You get to see lots of your favorite reoccurring characters and meet some new ones. My only complaint was G.G.’s attitude at the end. I don’t want to get too deep into my complaint because it would be spoiler-y, but basically, I wish he had a better attitude. It just dampened the HEA for me the tiniest bit.
Overall, this series is fantastic. Each book has the perfect balance of serious moments, hilarious hijinks, and lots of fun sexy times, all intertwined with exciting and action-filled plots. What more could you want?? Viva la Argeneau!

Ildaria has been running for 200 years. After numerous relocations through the centuries, she find a place and a connection she cannot deny. Ildaria meets G.G., a mortal man, whom she discovers is her life mate. What happens when she can`t run any longer from the past? Ildaria and G.G. forge forward in conquering insecurities but they are tested.
This is a great supernatural romance. I loved that both characters were unique and very different. I feel like this was a great demonstration of what a healthy relationship in romance looks like. Both pairs communicated and really ensured both felt safe.
I also enjoyed G.G.’s family. I laughed out loud and loved G.G’s mother. The ,masteries of her skills and quick wit left me giggling! That’s really made this book for me- I loved the supporting characters. I would rate this a four out of five. I received this ARC from Netgalley in exchange for a fair and honest review.
Immortal Angel (Argeneau #31). By Lynsay Sands. 2020. Avon (eBook).
Years ago Idaria “Angel” Garcia was attacked by a vampire and turned. Since then she has been on the run from the vampire, who is a man with powerful influence. But Idaria has a hard time laying low. She’s very much a vigilante; stepping in to stop human and immortal attacks and wrong doings alike. And her latest stunt has drawn public attention which is a severe violation of vampire conduct. So Lucian, the head of the North American Immortal Council, relocates Idaria to Toronto to keep a closer eye on her. Settling in, Idaria starts work at a vampire night club owned by a mortal. And it turns out her new boss, Joshua “G.G.” Guiscard is not only human, but her potential life mate. As she and G.G. try to navigate the life mate ship, her past returns, making for some choppy waters ahead.
I liked the main characters well enough. Idaria is a return character from Vampires Like it Hot where she was a crew member of a vampire pirate ship. G.G., despite being rather imposing in stature is just a down-to-earth guy. But he’s also grown up around immortals and witnessed his mother being turned when he was a child. He therefore has strong convictions about himself and the vampire world—namely, he refuses to be turned. I therefore thought we’d see a moral life mate of strong character be just as accepted as he had been prior to life mate status. That would have continued the interesting dynamic between G.G. and Idaria. But I was disappointed with the resolution. If felt out of character. There is also a bit more revealed about the connections of Idaria and another vampire in Vampires Like it Hot that was interesting, but also felt haphazard and a bit retconned. Immortal Angel overall is entertaining. I found it better than some of the previous books, but wasn’t swept off my feet.
I love the Argeneau and they always help me get out of a reading slump. I can never get enough of this series and the vampires. I really liked Ildaria and G.G. and their relationship, plus how they grew with each other. There are some parts that seem to have been glossed over but I really don't want to spoil the book for others. I will be reading anything I can get my hands on from this series.
As usual, the author took me down a path I wasn't sure where it would go but was thrilled when I got there. I always enjoy this author's books. I would definitely recommend this book.
#'Immortal Angel' by author # Lyndsay Sands is her newest novel in her infamous #Argeneau series. New York Times bestselling novelist of over 30 books. I myself can't resist a great novel with immortals, romance, and suspense.
Thank you,
#Netgalley, # Lyndsay Sands, and #Avon Books
I believe this is my 2ndd book of this series and it is #31 of the series. I still enjoyed it and had a little bit of a background to understand what was going on.
I received this from NetGalley for an honest review.
I really enjoyed this book about vampires. Though humans, do, of course, exist.
Ildaria is a vampire who gets herself in trouble more than once. Ildaria meets G.G. and when his dog doesn't try to bite her like he does everyone else, he hires her to dog sit and be his accountant. She really needs the job so she's happy to have it.
Ildaria aka Angel is an Immortal turned into an Immortal by accident when she was fourteen.
I really liked this character and am hoping to read more of this series.
