Simenon is one of my favorite writers; the Maigret series is completely incredible. Wonderful reads for anyone who enjoys police procedurals. Plus, combined with Parisian life, these are the perfect books for me. Love the new editions being published here!

Decent story but not much of a mystery to be solved. Most everything fell into Maigret’s lap without much work or rationalization. Still, I’d never turn away an opportunity to read a Maigret and I’d definitely recommend him to my readers.
