I have wanted more of these characters since they were introduced and I was not disappointed. Tucker and Della both had valid points for not wanting to admit their feelings, but there were times when I wanted to scream because of the way they were acting. The horrors that Della lived through were heartbreaking and I found myself being so proud of her for coming out the other side stronger than ever.
Tucker tried to remain her friend, due in part to his friendship with her brother, as well as her past. I found it frustrating that he put so much into the age difference, but could see his reasoning at the same time. I loved how she ultimately went for what she wanted. The residents at the assisted living facility where Della worked were a hoot. The way the proposition came about and their relationship grew from friendship to way more was endearing.
When Tucker pushed her to explore her dreams it was so heartwarming, even though it broke his heart to do so. After he finally realized he loved her, I appreciated how he confessed to her brother and her brother's reaction. The shopping trip, rain storm and driving lessons were all a slow burn to get them where they both ultimately wanted to be. There wasn't a moment of this book that I didn't like or enjoy. Even the hard to read parts were great, because they let the reader understand Della more.
I highly recommend this book and can't wait for the next in the series. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest, voluntary review.

I definitely struggled with this book. I really liked both characters in the beginning of this story and I loved that Della asked for help. She went through a lot with her ex-husband. Everything she's been through made some of her behavior even more unacceptable to me. I don't want to spoil any parts of this story for anyone else but I will say that when someone tells you their boundaries, respect them, regardless of why you think they have those boundaries.

I've read all three books in this series and this was the only one that I felt I had to push myself to finish.

I really enjoyed this one. This is a sibling's best friend, age-gap, small town, western romance. I like all of that!

Before this book Della was saved, by her brother Arlo, from her abusive husband. By the beginning of this book she is divorced and in therapy. I love Della's growth throughout this book.

Tucker is just a beautiful man.

The secondary characters are so amazing in this story. I think Rosemary might be my fave side character. She is this older woman and she is hilarious.

I love the guy friendship in this too. The one between Arlo, Tucker & Drew.
I
can't wait to read more in this stand alone series, because I need more of this world.

What a fun but very steamy read this proved to be! It is packed with humour from the very start and had my laughing out loud at so many of the incidents.

Credence, Colorado has a lot more men than women living there so you'd assume that Della Munroe wouldn't find it hard to find someone to at least date. However, she's now lived there for three years and most of the eligible males treat her like she's their younger sister rather than a potential girlfriend. Maybe that isn't totally surprising when you realise she's a domestic abuse victim who was rescued by her big brother and brought to the town for him to protect and to help her recover . . . . and her big brother is the local Sheriff so heaven help anyone who does anything to upset her in any way! There are very few folk he trusts to help her, but one of them is his best friend Tucker Daniels. When Della decides to start using Tinder to try to find someone to date, Tucker is coerced into being her wingman but this definitely makes life even more interesting as he's her secret crush - and she's his!

For those of you looking for romances which have the action behind closed doors, I'll say this definitely has an open door policy! There's romance for a couple of the residents where Della works, hilarious dates,  a ladies outing to visit a local shop where different aids are demonstrated and discussed, a lovely puppy, friendly blackmail and lessons galore in this fun read. Tucker is a real gentle man in every sense and their hot romance starts from a cool beginning but soon heats up! What a brave, resilient and determined young lady  Della has become after such a traumatic experience. These two are great - and so are Drew and Arlo. I really hope they both get their own books soon!

I requested and was gifted a copy of this book via NetGalley and this is my honest review after choosing to read it and thoroughly enjoying doing so.

In ‘Asking For Trouble’ we meet Della Munroe. Della has been living in Credence ever since her brother save her from her abusive husband. Now, three years later, Della is starting to feel better and more confident. It’s time for her to start living again. And to start dating again. But after her past, this isn’t really easy for Della. So who better to help her out than Tucker Daniels, the town barkeeper, her brothers best friend and the guy she secretly has a crush on.

‘Asking For Trouble’ was a really fun, romantic, sexy and feel good book that kept me hooked from the very beginning. I’ve always loved reading about small towns, and Credence is definitely a town I love. Combine that with two fun and very likeable characters and there’s nothing about this book I didn’t like. Sure, it was a little predictable.. but not in a bad way and not in a way that bothered me at all.

The romance between Della and Tucker was very enjoyable. You could easily feel their chemistry. And I loved the whole barkeeper, brothers best friend part. It definitely made for a swoon worthy book.

This book also made laugh out loud several times. The interactions between Della and her friends where just so funny. I definitely made my husband look up with a questioning look several times. And then there was Tucker, who desperately tried to not be embarrassed by Della’s questions.. I loved them.

‘Asking For Trouble’ was a very fun read with a swoon worthy romance.

Wow what a hot and steamy story full of great humor as well! Just what some of us need during these days of being shut-in. This is a very erotic story about a young woman who is recovering from abuse by her ex husband. Della’s half brother Arno has rescued her and for three years she has lived with him in the small western town of Credence, Colorado. The small town rallies to help her heal.
Arno’s best friend Tucker reluctantly takes on the task of helping her restore her social life and learn how to date. They agree that his help will just be as friends. Can that really happen?? Hmmmm.
The book begins wonderfully and holds your total interest all through it. The characters are fun, strong, and believable. They are ones you would love to have as friends and neighbors. I did not want to put the book down and just sighed at the end. It is well written with no slow parts at all.
I highly recommend this one and hope you enjoy it also. I look forward to reading more in this series and more of her books.

Asking for Trouble by Amy Andrews was heat, fun and a bit of angst mixed with delicious writing. It had the warm sunny feels of a small town romance. It had the balance of heat and sweet. I had some seriously funny moments. I had the steamy slow burn vibes. Also some heartaching moments.

Della has moved to Credence after her brother Arlo rescued her from an abusive and dangerous relationship. She has mended her broken parts and now she is ready to feel the thrill of intimacy again. But so much time has passed and she has no idea about how to play the game. Tucker, owner of the local bar and her brother's best friend is the last person to turn to for help. But she convinced him and somehow he became her dating coach. What will happen when they realise they have feelings for each other?

This story has a heavier feel than previous books in the series. Those were complete fun time. But Della had a lot of issues from her past. Physical wounds heal but mental scars stay. Tucker was dreamy, charming and swoony with an edge. Della always had feelings for him but it goes beyond physical attraction. This story is not light hearted but I had a great time with Della and Tucker as they slowly explore their emotions. It's understandable that they had to take it slow as Della had a lot to process. Another very personal thing: I have difficulty with books narrated from third person POV. It's silly but somehow I feel I cannot connect with characters.

Asking For Trouble by Amy Andrews made me laugh and cry. It was a truly inspiring and amazing small town romance.

This is the third book in the Credence, Colorado series, I read Nothing But Trouble (#1) this time last year and thoroughly enjoyed it, so it came as no surprise that this was just as enjoyable.

Asking For Trouble deals with the repercussions of domestic abuse, by a parent and by a husband.

Della has lived in Credence for the past 3 years, ever since her brother Wade, the local cop rescued her. She's spent her time getting her life together and sitting at Tucker's bar learning to feel safe and learning about friends.

Tucker is Wade's best mate and as such feels obligated to protect Della and help her in any way he can. Being her wingman as she learns to date probably wasn't what he had in mind.

I really loved these two, their friendship which starts with Tucker giving Della and then getting roped into being her wingman as she goes on Tinder dates, slowly grows into something more.

Della tasks Tucker with teaching her about her sexuality, and she couldn't have asked for a better teacher. Tucker is the kind of guy every girl dreams of. He's gorgeous, attentive, and protective, but he has hangups about how he feels about Della, his age, his friendship with her brother and her past. Watching these two explore each other and their feelings was all kinds of fun. And hoping they can both get their acts together and decide how they truly feel about each other was fun too.

Della certainly comes into her own as the story progresses and that's no small thanks to Tucker. But also to her friends and Rosemary, one of the residents the old people's home she works at. Rosemary is just an absolute hoot and she certainly teaches Della a thing or two, probably more than Della wished to know.

A great read with a happy ending.

I really enjoyed Della and Tucker's story. I found it very entertaining and loved the chemistry between them. this is a well written book with great supporting characters. Great read with a great HEA.

Asking For Trouble is fun, sexy, and greatly satisfying, yet emotional and touching in parts as well. I practically devoured it from page one. I loved both of the main characters so much! Tucker is definitely the type of man every girl dreams of and to say Della has had a rough past is a huge understatement. The fact that they've had a crush on each other that neither let themselves fully admit much less tell anyone is so endearing. It made me so happy to see them finally getting together. I was so worried about how her overprotective brother Arlo would react when he found out. This is such a fun series and I am so looking forward to reading the next book. Although each of these books can also totally be enjoyed as a standalone as well. If all of Amy Andrews books are as good as this one though I will just have to read them all!

Della gives hope for anyone that has endured the unthinkable, you can come out of it better and stronger. When Arlo brought her to Credence, she was broken but with Arlo’s determination and a community that embraced her, she found her way back to living. She finds herself ready to venture into dating, something she skipped going from high school to a husband. The biggest challenge is she has no experience at dating so Tucker becomes her wingman. Tucker has been a listening ear for Della when she needed it. She captured his heart a long time ago but because she is Arlo’s sister, he keeps his distance. Now he is coaching her in dating as well as improving her bedroom skills with the stipulation this is temporary. Can something that feels so right really be temporary? I loved this journey, it is raw and honest while delivering a beautifully sexy and sweet romance. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

When Della decides to up her social game she goes to Tucker Daniels for his tutelage. Tucker's damn well sure that he's not going to teach Della the art of dating all the douchebags in town. And he's not looking for this kind of trouble.

Fun read, full of sassy and sexy banter with these characters that you want to route for.

Highly recommended.

What fun read. A truly adorable sweet steamy story with of course a HEA. Della is a survivor of domestic and sexual abuse. She survived and was rescued by a brother previously unknown to her and who is in law enforcement and takes his job very seriously. He makes sure that everyone in their small town knows that his sister if off limits. Far far far off lint unless they want enough parking tickets to wall paper their homes with. And so begins her slow recovery and reawakening with a wonderful therapist and being surrounded by people who truly love and care for her in their small town. Three years in and she is ready to get back to living and start experiencing life again which included dating. A woman has needs you know! So she decides to join Tinder. After a few false starts with jerks, Tucker becomes her wingman to save her from herself. So what that he is completely head over heels stupid in love with her. His best friend, her brother will absolutely kill him. He is absolutely sure of that fact. After a drunken steamy kiss Della asks Tucker to become her “tutor” for dating, sex and all that goes with it. Because that cannot go badly can it? Go along for the read. It is well worth it. I adore this series and cannot wait for the next.

When I got the chance to read this book I found out that it tied into another book by this author. I had really enjoyed that book so I was excited to read this one. And it did not disappoint.

Della is in her mid twenties. She survived an abusive marriage and was rescued by the half brother that she never knew existed. Now she lives with her very overprotective brother, Arlo, in the small town of Credance. She was emotional scared and fragile. She has never had freedom or experienced a lot of things. The people of the town rallied around her and have been very protective.

After three long year and countless hours of therapy, Della thinks she is ready to start exploring dating. When Tucker, the bar owner and her brother's friend, finds out that she plans on going onto Tinder to find someone, he's more than a little worried. When Arlo finds out, he makes Tucker agree to be Della's wingman and watch over her. Tucker has feelings for Della but he refuses to stop her from experiencing all life has to offer so he tries to push them down.

This story takes you through all sorts of emotions and really makes you feel like you know the characters. I can't wait for the next book.

Tucker and Della's story was just as much about Della's bravery after her past experiences as the romance they shared. I thought both were handled nicely, especially as their relationship develops because Della wants to try dating and meeting new people.

The issues that they face - Della's past, he's her brother's best friend, and the age gap between them - all bothered Tucker a lot. I could see where he was coming from, but liked how Della was willing to go after what she wanted.

There were a number of funny moments and memorable secondary characters I hope we get to see again. I especially got a kick out of Drew and hope he gets his own book.

Della gets her happily ever after!

Della Munroe has finally climbed out of her shell after three years with getting a job, making friends and hopefully dating. Della wanted to date but with Arlo being the chief of police, she decided to sign up for a dating app and possible have a date when she went to Denver. Tucker Daniels found out she was registered on Tinder and volunteered to coach her in dating after the first date went bust. Tucker liked Della but thought he was too old for her but when she asked for help, he couldn’t resist and that leads to the best part of the story.

I absolutely love all of the books in the Credence, Colorado series but I am thrilled that Della got her happily ever after with Tucker and became the person that we hoped she would become. The best part is the people at the old folks’ home specially Rosemary Forbes and Ray Carmody.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This was a hard book for me to get into, I think because of Della's pushing Tucker into doing things that he was uncomfortable with. Now I get that part of the story is about being supported while you push yourself out of your comfort zone and to try new things, and that I have no problem with. Learning to drive? Moving out on your own? All things that some people need to be pushed to do. But that's not where things stopped.

Della's pushing Tucker into kissing her, for me, bordered on harassment. If a man were constantly trying to coerce a woman into kissing him people would be after him with pitchforks. In the wake of #MeToo I think people need to be more aware of the fact that it's not just women who are assaulted, and not just men who do the assaulting.

Also, I'm all for a slow burn romance, but this was almost painfully slow. I would have been happy with fewer scenes of Della coming into her own (did we really need all that vibrator talk in the store AND at home?) and more communication between the two. For all the talk about her traumatic background, I was a little surprised that we only had one brief PTSD episode at 77%. Yes, Tucker was being gentle so as to avoid it, and yes, she's been in therapy. Just something about this didn't ring true. I think it would have been far more likely that she'd think she was ready for something and then be forced to stop. Reading about the way the two of them handled that type of a situation would have made for a stronger connection between them, and between them and me.

The things I loved about this story were Drew and Arlo. For all his bluff and bluster, and contrary to popular belief that men control the sex lives of female relatives, Arlo was understanding. He wouldn't be friends with someone who was bad for his sister, and I appreciated that he came through. And poor Drew. I just want him to get some love. He's really a great guy in a not great job.

Overall, the writing is great, the dialogue believable, and the story a positive one. I just think the pacing could have been better. I look forward to the next in the series.

In Asking For Trouble, we return to Credence, CO with Della and Tucker as she begins to spread her wings.

I enjoyed getting to know these two characters better. Della has already put so much effort into her healing process that it was sweet to see her take the next steps. There was a great element of push pull with these two and I appreciated that Tucker was sensitive to Della’s past and worked to ensure her happinesses.

The secondary cast here is a lot of fun and contributes to some of the more emotionally engaging moments. I loved the crew at “The Old Folks Home” as well as Della’s brother, Arlo. I am definitely curious to see what happens next in Credence.
