4 stars!
A realistic look at life and growing up during the difficult stage of being a teenage girl. I wish there was a book like this 30 years ago and I look forward to sharing with daughter as she gets older.
I voluntarily read an advanced copy.
I have never read Dale Carnegie’s How to Win Friends and Influence People, I have always wanted to. When I saw this book pop-up I thought it would be a great starting point. Let me preface this by saying I am a 25-year old woman, not a teen girl! Regardless of my age, I enjoyed this read. I wish I had this book while I was a teen. Carnegie presents the adult advice through real-world scenarios that a teen would relate to. I was pleased that this provided actionable items, something I always look for in a self-help book. Overall great read!
