This is a wonderful overview of all things pagan for those new to Paganism. I found it easy to read and not to dense in material. A perfect book for the beginner.
I would like to thank Netgalley and the publisher for providing me with a copy free of charge. This is my honest and unbiased opinion of it.
This is a good primer for anyone interested in getting a baseline education in the history and practice of paganism, and I think it will be a valuable addition to any collection on the subject.
I've read quite a few books on paganism, but this one was a great overview of paganism, just as the title says, for beginners! In fact, I've already recommended it to people. Great read! Thank you NetGalley for the advanced reader copy!
This is quite good. This a mysterious topic for many and this book does a nice job of outlining what it's all about. It also has a nice quiz to help readers point to a potential kind of Paganism best for them, plus some resources. A solid intro for someone that was curious.
Thanks for the review copy!!
This welcoming introduction to paganism is a great addition to collections where new age titles are popular as well as HS collections where this topic is a perennial favorite.
I wish I would have had this book long ago. A very easy to understand and from my experiences a very accurate account of the Pagan movement. I found the Diety discriptions to be usable and safe from a religious standpoint. New people need to be aware of what they are calling and understand that a God or Goddess has thousands of years of history. If not more!. Simple rites are given near the end that can be used by a sincere person to begin their journey. I really like this book. It is to the point and practical. A very good addition to the new or old practioners library.
