Unfortunately, what started as a reasonable book became so unbelievable that it felt rather annoying. How can you have any level of suspense build up during the search, when you have someone who can just magically find their way to the kidnapped people? By the time there is a confrontation, you know that the blessed couple will just magically make it out of there.
A good point was the twist, but this was unfortunately signposted rather early so it came as no surprise to us. The writing was rather simple, which made this book a very fast read. This book is hard to rate for stars, if I could give three and a half I would.
No longer interested in reading this. Clearing out old galleys.
Not my favorite book from this author. It started off a bit slow and I had to force myself to return to it a few times. I do think like how the rest played out though and will be looking for more books by this author.
