This book is a good fit for readers seeking a steamy romance between two strong-willed characters who must confront their past traumas and fears to find love.

It was an quick and easy read. But it was missing some meat on the bone. The character`s chemistry was not so much for me.

I loved the culture this book brought it. It would have been nice if it was a bit longer but I loved the characters. They both come from such sad backgrounds.

I received a free copy of Courageous Lovers in exchange for an honest review. This was a quick and easy read. I enjoyed the depth of the characters Lucilia and Rafa. I also really enjoyed the Brazilian background, and the introduction to some of the culture and history there.

Overall, this was a book that I would recommend.

This book was so emotional. I loved it.
These characters were complicated and had really said back stories but I loved reading about them and seeing them develop feelings for each other. It was beautiful and hopeful.
The only critique is that I wish the book was longer.
